Reyansh
I hate it. I hate it — and they know that.
I'm the CEO of Rajvansh Ltd, and I’ve never taken a day off work — until today. And thats only because of my best friend. Today is Veer’s birthday. I have no idea why he enjoys celebrating it so much, but I hate it. It feels like a waste of time. I don't make time for this kind of thing — but for him, I’m here.
Now I’ve been sitting here for the past half hour, waiting for my two best friends — Veer and Anish. Veer is extra excited today, probably because Radha — his girlfriend — just came back from London. They've been dating for four years now, and I know today means a lot to him.
When the two of them finally arrived, I started the car. Veer was bursting with excitement, but it all disappeared when Anish pointed ahead.
Radha was on a bike — holding tightly to some guy. The way that guy was riding, he must’ve been a professional biker.
Veer’s expression changed instantly.
We tried calming him down, but there was no point. I’ve never seen him this angry. I sped up, trying to follow them, but the rider was skilled — hard to catch. Eventually, we tracked them to a private driving track.
Veer: “Rey, drive faster! I need to know who that guy is — and what she's doing with him on a driving track!”
But the guards at the gate stopped us.
“Ma’am has booked the track for the next hour. You can't enter.”
Big mistake. We're from the Rajvansh family — Khandani — our surnames speak for themselves.
As soon as we got in, I couldn’t believe what I saw.
Radha was the one riding the bike. Not the guy.
We were stunned. As she stopped, the guy — or rather, the other rider — kept going. I looked at Veer and moved toward the speeding bike.
Radha
A voice called from behind.
I froze. That voice.
“Veer?”
I turned around — and there he was, standing a few steps away, looking furious.
“What is he doing here? Did he see us?” A thousand thoughts raced through my head.
But the moment our eyes met, all my nerves melted.
Without a second thought, I ran to him and threw my arms around him.
Radha: “Oh my God! Veer!”
I cupped his face, grinning ear to ear, and kissed him gently on the lips — quick and soft, but full of warmth.
Radha: “Happy Birthday, love! I can’t believe you’re actually here!”
He was still tense, confused, maybe even angry, but I didn’t let go of his hand.
I kept smiling. “I was going to surprise you later — but I guess you surprised me instead.”
He didn’t speak, just stared — first at me, then at the bike behind me. I could see the storm brewing in his eyes.
Before he could speak, my attention snapped back to the track.
Just as I was about to explain, I saw Reyansh Bhai chasing the other bike with his car. I panicked.
"Veer! Tell Bhai to stop!"
Veer told him, and he stopped. I hurried to where the other rider had come to a halt.
Veer
Radha was tensed, and suddenly yelled out, “Heyyyy! Stop!”
The rider took off their helmet — and we froze.
The helmet came off.
It was Shreya.
She looked straight at Reyansh, furious. Without noticing me behind Radha, she stormed toward him and grabbed his collar.
Shreya: “What’s your problem? Why are you chasing me like some creep?”
She raised her fist, ready to punch him.
Radha
I quickly stepped in. “Shreya, stop!”
She paused, confused.
“These are my friends,” I said, gesturing toward them. “That’s Reyansh and Anish.”
She blinked in surprise. “Wait… what?”
Just then, her eyes landed on the person standing right behind me — Veer.
Her expression changed instantly.
“Veer!”
She rushed to him and hugged him, completely forgetting about everything else.
Shreya: “Happy Birthday, you idiot! I didn’t even realize it was you behind Radha!”
Veer smiled, still a bit shaken, but hugged her back.
Veer: “Thanks, Shreya. For a moment, I really thought you were a guy!”
Shreya laughed. “That’s on you. Full gear means no face. I didn’t think I’d be attacked by your friend for enjoying a ride.”
Anish: “Radha, you guys drive?! We had no idea!”
Radha grinned. “Shreya loves to ride. We come here often. But please don’t tell anyone — if Dadu finds out, we’re finished.”
Everyone nodded like loyal accomplices.
Veer
Shreya is definitely outspoken. She didn’t hesitate to go off on Reyansh the moment she saw him. Then she wished me, asked for a birthday treat — apparently, I interrupted her riding session.
So here we are now, at Rey’s hotel, celebrating my 28th birthday.
It’s my special day, but somehow, i was wondering how did that hot headed guy not react to his collar being held.
I gave Anish a knowing glance as Rey sat there quietly, still reeling from what just happened.
Reyansh
“I was chasing that rider with everything I had. I was about to cut them off…”
→ Could be tightened to: “I chased the rider, ready to cut them off…” Veer called, telling me to stop. That only meant one thing — Radha must’ve told him.I stopped.
The rider stopped.
And then — she took off the helmet.
It was her.
She marched over to me and grabbed my collar, furious.
That voice, that face… it wasn’t just recognition. It was her.
I couldn’t believe it. And neither could Anish. We were stunned.
I took a day off for a stupid birthday celebration.
But maybe it wasn’t a waste after all.
Because today, I found her.
