The Eternal Thread is the magic you weave into the tapestry of tales you share with the world. Now, you're called to rise to the challenge—to show us your gift for spinning masterpieces from the golden strands of fate, mystery, and imagination.
Taking our cue from the ONC, we invite you to embark on 12 weeks of creativity, magic, mystery, and lore.
Your mission: to tell a story in five chapters within your chosen genre. But there's a twist—
you may only write the next chapter after you've passed through the gate of the one before.
Only those whose stories continue to enchant will move forward, chapter by chapter, until just a few remain... weaving their final thread in the fifth and final round.
To enter, simply sign up for your chosen genre category—your 抖阴社区 username is all we need. Once all category slots are filled, we'll announce the official start date.
From that point, you'll have two weeks to complete your first chapter. When you're ready, comment on the contest post with the title of your story and your chapter link.
Chapters will be judged for creativity, voice, and genre execution.
Only the top 15 stories will move forward to the next round.

Week 0 - Gathering of Weavers: July 1st through July 7th
All entries must be registered by July 7th, 2025

First chapters must be begun and completed July 8th through July 21st
The Reading of the Warp - Judging July 22nd through July 28th
Travelers through the 1st Gate announced July 29th
The Gate of Weaving
The work begins
Second Chapter must be begun and completed July 30th through August 12th
The Reading Of The Weft - Judging August 13th through August 20th
Travelers through the 2nd Gate announced August 21st
The Gate of Revealing
The Pattern reveals itself
Third Chapter must be begun and completed August 22nd through September 3rd
The viewing of the pattern - Judging Sept 4th though Sept 10th
Travelers through the 3rd Gate announced September 12th
The Gate of Locking Threads
The Weaving is coming to an end
Fourth Chapter must be begun and completed Sept 13th though Sept 26th
The locking of The threads - Judging Sept 27th though October 4th
Travelers through the 4th Gate Announced October 5th
The Gate Of Removing
Removing the Weaving from the Loom
Fifth and Final Chapter begun and completed October 6th through October 20th
The displaying of the tapestry-Judging October 21st through October 28th
The final travelers and winners announced October 29th
