JENNIE’S POV

Saturday — YGIU Campus, 10:23 AM

It’s Saturday, but here we are — back at YGIU like it’s a weekday.

Most students would be sleeping in, but the SGC officers and the newly appointed upper administration had to return for weekend duties. There's a mountain of paperwork to finish before Monday. No one’s complaining, though. Not after the week we just had.

A lot has happened.

Ever since the founder of YGIU revealed himself to the public, the entire university has been flipped upside down. Principal Kang — no, Mr. Kang now — and the rest of the corrupted upper administration were fired. Not just fired — they were arrested. That part shocked everyone. But if I’m being honest… I’m happy. We all are. They deserve to rot in jail for what they did.

The system under Mr. Kang was rotten. Every student felt it, whether they admitted it or not. It makes sense now why he had so much power — everyone in the upper administration was his ally, his puppet. The very people who were supposed to protect us were protecting him instead.

But karma didn’t waste time.

That very same day, the founder expelled every known bully on campus. Miss Jessi told us the founder had his own personal blacklist — names he ordered to be removed immediately. I was honestly shocked. How did Mr. Marco even get that list? Did he uncover all those names himself? Or maybe… he talked to Lisa.

As far as I know, one of Lisa’s priorities since becoming SGC President was continuing the anti-bullying campaign I started last year. And she’s been effective — several students were already expelled under her term. Maybe she shared her list with the founder. After all, she always had a detailed record of those students.

But it didn’t stop there. Even students with hidden criminal records — somehow admitted during Mr. Kang’s administration — were immediately expelled too. It was like watching years of injustice being swept away in one bold move.

For the first time in a long time, YGIU felt... lighter.
You could feel it.
See it.
The way students walked around since Thursday — more free, less afraid.

And just when we thought it was over, the founder made another announcement. Every scholar who previously only received 50% support?
Now fully covered. No more ridiculous hurdles just to earn what they already deserved.

That was one of Mr. Kang’s sickest systems — setting up impossible standards just to keep deserving students from getting their full scholarships. When deep down, we all knew the truth. He was pocketing the money. Funds from investors and even the university itself — meant for the students — were being stolen right under everyone’s noses.

Now, the entire university is being rebuilt — every dark corner exposed, every toxic structure torn down. It feels… exciting. Hopeful. Like we’re standing at the edge of a true fresh start.

I just hope it really is.

That from now on, no student will be bullied, harassed, or abused to the point where they fall into depression — or worse. I never want to experience another random day where we find out someone ended their life inside this campus. No more bodies in dorm rooms, no more wrists slit in silence, no more final goodbyes written in notes we were too late to read.

I tried once. I dug around, asked questions… until Dad found out. He shut me down immediately. Told me to stay out of it. That it was too dangerous.

I sighed as I remembered my conversation with Lisa last Tuesday. She probably can feel I’m hiding something from her. I’ve tried to act normal, but I can feel it in her eyes — she knows.
