"Hey, Roy. Need a hand?"

"No."

"I think you do." Dick called out as I swiftly landed in front of Roy. "She's back, by the way."

"After it's all gone to hell," Roy spat. "I have nothing to say to any of you. Nothing to explain, nothing to justify."

"Is that so?" I raised an eyebrow and took the cash from his pocket. "Easily $2,000 in here... Vigilantism doesn't pay much if I remember correctly."

"The store owner won't miss it. He offered me a reward anyways!"

"Dude, are you even listening to yourself!?" Wally exclaimed.

"I need it to find Speedy! The real Roy Harper." Roy defended and took the money from my hand. "And where the hell were you, huh?"

I didn't flinch. Not at his tone, not at the question, not even when he jabbed a finger at me like it was an accusation sharp enough to draw blood.

"Dead," I said flatly. "Then came back to life... Now, I'm just whelmed."

Roy's mouth opened. Then closed. And for a moment, he looked less like a man on fire and more like someone drowning in smoke.

Wally winced beside me. Even Dick went quiet, his earlier calm evaporating into something more somber.

"You... you could've reached out. You could've said something. I thought you were gone for good. We all did." Roy's jaw clenched. His hands curled into fists around the stolen cash.

"I was gone," I replied, stepping closer, not with threat but with weight. "I came back to a world that had moved on. To people who looked through me like I was a memory they couldn't delete fast enough."

Roy blinked, the edges of his anger faltering. Just a little.

"Don't act like you're the only one who lost something," I continued, my voice low but steady. "You lost a name. I lost my life."

I didn't ask for this," he muttered, but there was no heat behind it now. Just gravel and regret.

"None of us did," I replied. "But we got it anyway. And we're still here. Doesn't that count for something?"

Roy's lips twitched like he was about to argue. But instead, he just turned to Dick.

"Why now?" he asked. "Why'd you bring her back now, after everything?"

"She came back on her own," Dick said simply. "And she didn't owe us that."

"Roy, you're not alone," Dinah stepped beside me. "When was the last time you slept? The last time you trained?"
