Johnny's POV
"Babe, wake up." Lil murmured in my ear. "It's time to hit the road."
I opened my eye's. Fuck why did I drink so much last night? Thank god we were flying to our next destination.
"I'm gonna shower." I mumbled getting up and kissing her quickly.
"I'll pack."
I got in and let the water run over me, clearing my head. I threw on jeans and a shirt and walked out of the bathroom.
"Here." Lil said, handing me a couple of Tylenol. Damn this woman knew me so well.
"Is Natasha awake?"
"Yep, she's downstairs waiting."
"Good." I said grabbing our bags. "Ready?"
Lillian had another quick look around and followed me to the elevator.
"Lil, do you mind if I sit with Tash on the plane?" I asked.
"Not at all."
"I just want to talk to her."
I was worried, she just wasn't herself these days.
"I think that's a great idea." She told me.
I just wanted to find out what was wrong with my sister.Everyone was in the lobby waiting when we got there and we all piled into a couple of mini vans and headed to the airport. When we were checking in I made sure my seat was next to Tash's.
While we waited I watched her. She was staring out the window, not really saying anything to anyone. It wasn't like her normally she never shut up, from the moment she started talking she actually never shut up.Finally we boarded and I made my way up to my seat. Tash was already seated.
"Well look at that." I said flopping into the seat beside her. "You have to put up with me for four hours."
"I'll manage." She said smiling.
"You better."
She laughed and we made small talk until the we were ready for take off and as we took off Tash held my hand. I'd forgotten she hated flying but she always got on a plane for us.
I waited until we were up and settled in then I turned to her.
"What's going on Tash?" I asked.
She looked at me shaking her head. "Not much."
I sighed. "I mean what's really going on."
"What do you mean?"
"I'm your brother and I know somethings not right, so tell me, what's wrong?"
She didn't answer me straight away, she looked out the window. "I don't know Johnny." She said quietly. "I'm not having fun anymore."
"What do you mean?"
She shrugged. "I don't enjoy it anymore, not since.....well you know."
I knew.
"Jimmy?" I asked softly and she nodded. "We all miss him Tash, we just show it in different ways I guess."
"I know but I was thinking, after these next few shows I might finish up." She told me.
"Finish up?" I wasn't sure what she was getting at.
"You know, quit, find a job, my own place, settle down."
"No you can't do that."
"Why?"
"How can you settle down, you don't even have a boyfriend." I said.
"And I'll never get one either Johnny because I'm always with you and the guy's."
"So?"
"So, I need my own life Johnny."
"You have your own life, here, with us. We're your family and you're not going anywhere. That's the end of that conversation so get that stupid idea out of your head."
She looked shocked that I had spoken to her so harshly but I didn't care, she was my sister, she was always with me and there was absolutely no way I was letting her go off on her own.
"Fuck." I said leaning over towards Matt. "I need a drink."
A big one.
