Killua X Reader: Short Stories~

          To all of you unfortunate souls(me included :'(), who are going back to school... I'm so sorry. But hey to those who are excited to go back, be excited! Share the excitement, with me... Please. Anyways, here's a little back to school short that will hopefully lift your spirits.

          You stop before the gates to your new school. It was your first day to of any school days to follow until you were set free again and you were absolutely done with school already. Students ran past you: Freshmen, sophmores, juniors and seniors. Some looking fresh and excited for the day, greeting their friends with large amount of ecstasy, while most looked as if they were running on less than a hour of sleep. You hated school.

            "If you don't wanna go, skip with me." You suddenly hear someone breath into your ear, nearly sending you 10 feet into the air. you slapped your hand to your ear as you turned to meet the eyes of your white haired friend, Killua. 

            "You know I can't do that. It's the first day." 

            "That's never stopped you before." he huffs leaning pack, stuffing his hand into his pants. 

            "Well excuse me for beginning to want to learn for once." You say irritably, "Unlike you." 

            "Hey, you shouldn't get mad at me just because I escaped this hell hole to get my hunter's license and live my life." He says raising his arms to show he didn't want to fight with you.

            "And I suppose you think I'm wasting away going to school, right?"

            "Well, ya." He says and you push past him aggressively. He catches your wrists and jogs in front of you, "What's wrong with you today? You alright?"

            "Fine." You rip your wrist from his grasp and stand straight, "Now if you don't mind I'd like to go to school to actually learn. So, I'd appreciate it if you'd move." 

         He side steps out of your way with a scowl on his face. You walk past him in an almost strut until you are out of his view. Once you enter the school and turn the first corner your press your back against the wall. You sigh heavily and look down the halls. You could practically feel the anxiety building up around the surrounding area and seeping under your skin, "Ugh... I hate school." You say under your breath, already feeling the stress and peer pressure in your future. 

             "That's why I'm telling you to skip with me." You a familiar voice say from directly beside you and you almost jump out of you skin. 

             "H-How long were you there?" You whisper. 

             "Long enough to hear that you hate school." He smirks, "You know I don't appreciate begin lied to." 

             "Okay," You throw up your arms in defeat, " fine. I admit, I hate school. So what? That doesn't take away the fact that I can't skip with you." 

             The boy simple scowls and walks away. You felt your heart drop, knowing you were giving away a rare moment alone with Killua for school... You heard the bell ring and raced to find your first period, feeling like weights were attached to your feet. You had to drag yourself to your first class and just made it in time. 

             The rest of the day was spent no different. You dragged yourself to every class and had to force yourself to stay awake during every lecture. You officially had the most boring classes and the worst teachers this semester. By lunch time you were already worn out. You could not stand another hour of "Breaking the ice" Games or worse, self introductions. You slumped down in a chair in the cafeteria and rested your head in your arms. The first day wasn't even that important. It was just introducing yourself to people you more or less knew from elementary school. Why were you even here?
