Chapter 14

His hair was messy and lazily styled, his clothes were wrinkled and dirty, and his skin was pale. "I've known her since we were in kindergarten. I knew a lot about her, but she's grown a lot since then.

Was he reciting his paper on you? It sure sounded like it. You turned your head, trying to hide the tears that were already starting to fall down your reddened cheeks. "She has a sense of peace, and it makes her more beautiful than she already is. She's strong enough not to let anyone see her down." he continued, his voice cracking as he said that you were beautiful. 

You covered your mouth and looked farther away from him. "When I was upset, which I often was, she did everything in her power to help me feel better. She even stood up to my Bro once. And for that she'll always be the courageous little person I loved." It was then that you turned completely around, stopping your tears and stared angrily at the wall in front of you.

You heard him get up, and felt him sit down next to you on the bed. "But for the past six years, I had turned away from her and made her feel alone. When it wasn't my intention to do so at all." he said, now speaking lowly. You still said nothing as he spoke.

"I had meant to stay away from her until my feelings for her simmered down. But instead I ended up avoiding her because they never went away. I didn't wanna hurt the friendship we had if she didn't feel the same way." That was when you turned to see him placing his elbows on his knees, staring at the wall

You inched over closer to him, still facing the wall, but you were now slightly leaning your head on his shoulder. You felt him turn his head slightly, "(Y/N), I know you have no reason to trust me, or even believe me, but I never lied about my feelings for you." He said softly. You pick your head up off his shoulder and sighed. 

"You're right....I don't. Matter of fact I don't know why I didn't kick you  out yet." You say a bit harshly, making him cringe slightly,"but, I can't deny that I love you too much to hate you. Regardless of what you did." you lowered your head and rubbed your temple.

You look back at him to find him doing the same. You couldn't take it anymore.

Your hand shot out, grabbing his shirt, and yanked him into a kiss. He was surprised at first, then he hesitantly kissed back. God, he so didn't deserve this, but you'd be lying if you said you didn't want him.  

You pulled back, tears already filling your eyes. "I...just don't want to be hurt anymore Dave." 

He brought his hand to your face and wiped away a stray tear. "I promised, for as long as I live, I will never hurt you again. I'm sorry, (Y/N)" he said, his candy red eyes gleaming with determination. You nodded and buried your face in his chest, taking in the feeling.

It was then that you heard giggling on the other side of your door. You get up and open the door to reveal a giggling Kanaya, Jade, and Karkat. Your cheeks felt like they were on fire as they all made hearts with their hands. "The hell are you guys doing here?! I thought you when to his house!" you stuttered at Jade, gesturing to the brunette holding onto her waist.

She winked and ran down the stairs, dragging Karkat with her. You huffed and look at Kanaya. She smiled at you and kissed your forehead. "You made a wise decision." she said winking. You smile back and hug her. Once you let go she shot a look at Dave. 

She had a smile on her face but her eyes screamed 'if you hurt her again, I will rip off your dick and shove it down your throat'. "Don't screw up this time, Strider." she said turning and walking away. You swear you saw her eyes turn a different color when she did, but  you thought nothing of it.

You quickly closed the door and slumped against it, letting out a long breath. You felt arms snake around your waist and turn you around. Dave was looking at you, glasses still off, eyes full of lust. Your face turned even redder as you saw him smile deviously. "You heard her. I can't screw this up," he said cockily,"so let me show you just how much I love you."

You felt blood rush to your head as you stood there in amused silence. Well shit.

A/N

No the story doesn't end here, though that last paragraph was a hint hint at a lemon, BUT of course i promised all you faint hearted pansies that I'd make it at the end of the book (which is pretty darn close I'm sad to say) And don't worry, I still love you guys *cough*even though some are pansies *cough*

But if you WANT it in the next chapter all you gots tah do is say so, but I'm a bit hesitant seeing as the last time I put a lemon in a book it was awkward for everyone XD. But yeah. 

Also in regards to the 2 month break I took for 抖阴社区, I'm sorry I've been dealing with school XC but with the school firewalls down and out for the count, I can write a lot more at school so YIPPIE!! X)
