Too Blind To See {One Direction}

Chapter 14

"You can take it with you to... the forest I guess? You're going to the forest aren't you?" 

"Of course, that's our place, you know that. You are the only one who knows that. Please keep it that way?" I asked Liam my eyes piercing into his soft brown ones. He saw how serious I was and nodded his eyes piercing back into my brown ones. He wrapped the bacon in some tinfoil and handed it over to me with a smile.

"I know you want it, just take it." he said with a  cute smirk, again, a cute smirk. Stupid mind, it really doesn't make sense.

I took the bacon out of his hands with a small smile I tried to hide. It didn't work, I could see in Liam's smile and soft eyes he saw it. Damn. 

PLOP. Something popped up in my mind. Those soft brown eyes reminded me of someone. Well, not just someone, Zayn Malik. One of my exes, one of the boys I'm in love with and one of the boys I do not want to think about right now. 

But Liam's cute smirk, again, just reminds me of Zayn's smirk. The one he shows when I do something stupid, when he thinks i'm cute, when he tries not to laugh but fails miserably, when he'salmost about to laugh, the beginning of his perfect smile. That smile that makes me feel special, because he doesn't show it often, the one that lights up his whole face. Starting with his mouth opening revealing his perfect white teeth blindng you, then his nose crunches up, and than last, but definitely not least, his eyes. They light up and I just feel the happiness bubling up inside my stomach spreading through the rest of my body.

I realised I've been just standing there in the living room with the Liam' bacon in my hands and Liam standing in front of me looking worriedly with his soft eyes. I shook my head to push away Zayn's perfect smile. I smiled slightly and turned around. I grabbed a shopping bag and the keys of my bike. I didn't turn my head to see how Liam reacted, I think he has some idea of what happened.

I walked out of the flat heading to the elivator saying hi to the old man walking by. I went down to the basement and grabbed my blue bike. I put the shopping back on the front and went to the supermarket. Noa and I always picknicked in the forest so I thought I should buy some food, like when we were young.

I still felt guilty about sort of ignoring her so I bought a few of her favourites. Including apples, chocolate chip cookies (yum), strawberries, salmon sandwiches, mashed potatoes and pineapple juice. I went back to the flat taking with me a cute bow from this cute boutique to give to Noosh. She loves bows, around her neck and in her hair. I pick a bright blue one, hoping she doesn't have that one yet.

Noosh's and I's clothing styles looks sort of like each other. We both love girly things like skirts and dresses but she loves bows, as I said, flat shoes and suspenders and hates flowers. While I love flowers, high heels and have a weakness for scarfs and barrets.

I look at my phone and see it's already twelve o'clock. I had to hurry up if I didn't want to be late. Noosh hates me being late. She once said on purpose something was half an hour earlier so I would be exactly on time. Silly sister. Yes, I'm talking about myself.

I arrived at the forest on time, luckily. I cycled in and found Noa sitting on a pink blanket with some food in front of her. She looked up at the sound of my bike riding through some leaves and branches on the ground. She smiled and I smiled back. I put my bike on the side and just dropped it on the ground.

I walked up to her but didn't notice the trunk that lay in my way so I fell over it and fell flat on my face in the sand, green leaves and branches. Again, sily sister. I heard Noosh's love come out of her mouth and I looked up. I saw Noosh almost lying on the ground because of laughter. It must've been funny to see so I don't blame her for laughing at me.
