I woke up, in my bed, by myself. I checked the time, 9am. I guess that means I have to go to work. I checked my phone, no messages as per usual. "Great. Here we go."
- 25 minutes later -

I'm walking towards the record store, and I see another guy walk in before me. I wish I knew what happened with John, he hasn't called or texted and I didn't get his number. I walked into the store and was greeted by a small girl, Melissa, her name tag read. "Welcome to Blue Star Records, all records are 20% off, if you need any help find someone wearing a blue star." I walked towards her, "Hey, I'm actually new and supposed to start here today, my name is Dan." I said walking with her towards the front. "Umm, Daniel Howell?" she asked. "Yes ma'am, but I just go by Dan." She smiled at me, "Sure, Dan. If you'll follow me I'll show you your uniform and find a trainer for you." she turned around and called out "Cas, you're training Dan." as she kept walking towards the uniforms I believe. She handed me one, they're not bad, just a white apron that has a blue star in the front and back. "Thank you," I mumble as a very tall guy walks up to me, "Hey, I'm Casper, but I go by Cas, and I'm your trainer. I'll just show you the basics and if you need any help, I'll be here." he said with a gorgeous smile, like it was absolutely amazing. "Okay." I said following him around as he showed me how the everything was organized, he said first it's by type, then genre, then alphabetical. "So, that's about it, we have specials sometimes so when you greet the customer you have to tell them the special and if they need help to find the blue star, like Melly should've done as you came in." I nodded. "Alright, well if you got all that then you're good, mate. What was your name again?" he said patting my shoulder as we made our way to the front again. "It's Dan," I smiled. "Well, Dan, our shift ends at 5, do you have any plans afterward?" he looked away and rubbed his neck. "Um, not really, why?" He chuckled, "You seem like a great guy and I'd like to get to know you better." I just nodded and smiled. Why are all of these guys trying to hang out with me, do I have a sign that says gay or something? "Um, actually, I'm in a relationship, Cas." I mumbled. "Oh." he sighed. "That's okay, I'd still like to get to know you better. We do work together so we should know each other anyways. How about we go out for lunch then?" he asked. "Lunch sounds perfect. Where to?" I asked, and like the cliche guy he is he laughed and just gave me a "You'll just have to wait and find out, now won't you?"
