How She Feels

After the party at the Zalfie house-hold Alex, Joe and I rode the train together. While we rode home I couldn't help but notice that Alex was trying to keep a smile away. Maybe it was because that Joe and I talked almost the whole way home or that she had too much to drink. Either way, I will find out. Well... Someday I will.

 It's been about a week since the party happened, and I've been busy with writing my book and work that I haven't had much social contact with friends expect for Alex and Oli. My week was filled with waking up at 05:30 to go to work and getting home around 03:45 pm, and when I did get home I would go straight to bed or the shower. My weekends are usually just as boring, I won't wake up till 10 in the morning and all I will do is clean, watch YouTube, and write my book. But this weekend Oli and I talked on the phone for hours, it was lovely. We talked about days and times that I would be available to do a video with him, he told me that I should call the other boys to clarify the same thing for their videos. In the end of the hours of talking we actually set up a 'date', and I am not joking. Well it's more of a group date, that is casual. It will be Zoe, Alfie, Oli, Joe,  Caspar, Josh, Louise, Dan and Phil. And we all are going out to eat then watching a movie later at my house. I've been trying to convince myself that I'll be a good hostess but my thoughts keep knocking me down. But I will be fine.

I throw my jacket onto my bed and begin to take off my shoes, "Hey Alex!" I shout from my room.

"Yes?"

"Will you come here please?"

"No I will not. This couch claims my name and I shall not make it mad." Alex calls back to me

"Well that's great. I really wanted to walk back to the living room." I sarcastically say as I walk to the living room.

"Wow, your sarcasm is strong after work." I see that Alex is on the small couch on her computer.

I cross my arms, "Really? You can't get off Tumblr for one minute to talk to me?"

Alex looks up at me with her computer light reflecting off her face, "Yes. Tumblr is more important to me than getting up. Plus I just found the best thing in the world on here."

"You said that two weeks ago and it was just a cartoon gif of a girl not making a popcorn into her mouth so she threw the popcorn container at her cat ." I sit myself down on the bigger couch.

"Oi! That was amazing! But this definitely beats it." She beams, and shows me two males kissing in a gif.

"That beats popcorn hitting a cartoon cat?" I say raising my eyebrow

"Now that was rude. Of course this is better than the popcorn cat gif, do you see who they are? Like how in the world did the person make it. Its wonderful!" She forces her eyes to go wide open as she turns he computer to face her again.

I just sigh, "Okay. Anyway I wanted to talk to you about tomorrow."

"Oh yeah. About you and Joe going on a dinner date and then coming here to 'watch a movie'." She continues to look at her computer screen.

I roll my eyes, "First of all its a group get together and secondly we are going to watch a movie."

"Okay, yeah whatever you say flirty mcflirt."

I run my hands through my black hair, "Alright.. ANYWAY. I was wondering if you'd be so kind and clean the kitchen before you leave?"

"Phss. No thank you, if I'm not apart of your smooch festive I ain't helping."
