Are we so different?

A/N: This is short sorry! Sorry for the long wait as well. I hope to have this finished by the time the next movie comes out. I'm not sure how much of the fourth movie I'm going to follow. I know I'm going to change a lot of it to fit my ideas. I'll see how good the next movies are to see if I want to continue following the movies.

Chapter 37

We had taken cover in an abandoned parking structure that was falling apart. "We need to move before the fighters spot us. Wait here until we scout a route ahead," Optimus said turning away from us. "Let's roll." The Auto bots left us to scout out the path that would be best for us. "Ratchet, cover high."

"Hey, think you could use that rocket to shoot down that pillar?" Sam asked pointing to the rocket strapped into a launcher.

"We're eight blocks away. We gotta get closer to take a shot," an overweight African American soldier said. He was the one carrying the rocket. I hadn't learned his name so I nicknamed him Bob, not original I know.

"Not closer, higher. We need a clear line of sight," Epps said.

"And it's on the other side of the river, it's going to be hell trying to sneak over there," I said. "And we have just the one shot."

"One shot's all we need," Epps said. We set off and I knew Lennox was on his way, gathering up his troops. Simmons would have them trying to get eyes in here. I wondered what I would have to do to get the World Leaders to let the Auto bots stay. We ran to meet up with the Auto-bots, over the com link I could hear Brains chanting for our victory. Gunfire was the predominant sound as we ran, I broke off from the group to help Optimus who had Shockwave's pet after him.

I hopped on to top of his cab and fired at the giant metal worm, but it ripped off Optimus' trailer anyway. As Optimus and I came in I heard Brains grumble, "Gotta warn you, it's scary out there, Decepticons."

I leapt down off of Optimus' shoulder. "They got my trailer, I need that flight tech," Optimus said heading back to the door loading his gun by cocking it. "Shockwave can't hunt all of us at once. Wreckers, we need a diversion, Allison, you stay with me," Optimus ordered.

"Let's get some," one of the Wreckers said.

"You got that right," another said. I rolled my eyes as the three went out in their alt mode.

Epps spoke up giving orders to the other soldiers and to Sam and Carly. "Listen, we're going to circle around to that glass building. We'll get high enough to make the rocket shot while you guys draw his fire, let's move." Everyone started to head out the door as I climbed back up onto Optimus' shoulder.

"Wait a minute!" Wheel jack called. "I'm not going to let you go out there without my urban-combat prototypes." He dropped some weapons on the ground and I rolled my eyes. He meant they hadn't been tested and all the bugs hadn't been worked out.

"We gotta go Que. Come on," Dino said walking out the door.

"Wait they're great inventions for kicking ass," Wheel jack said as Sam picked up one of each item.

"What are these?" Sam asked looking at them.

"A good way to get yourself into some trouble?" I asked only loud enough for Optimus to hear. He chuckled as we looked out the doorway, looking to see if any Decepticons were coming our way.

"Those are boomsticks, armed in 30 seconds." Sam looked at the other thing in his hand which appeared to be some kind of glove. "Grapple gloves, for the climbing. Wheel jack turned to me, handing me a necklace. "This is a subspace. It has enough room to hold two auto bots of Optimus' size, five large guns, a weeks' worth of rations, and one other thing of your choice. Weapons are already loaded. To select one all you have to do is press the button on the side and move through the screen that opens up."

"Thank you Wheel jack," I said putting the necklace on.

"Hey, Squishy!" Sunny called. I looked in his direction. "I made this for you," he said holding something very small in between his large index finger and thumb. I held my hand out and he dropped a silver bracelet into it. "It's like your other bracelet, only this one is a sword that is capable of firing a laser beam that can burn its way through our plates. Just press the diamond." He seemed embarrassed to be giving me a gift.

"Thank you Sunny," I said slipping it on. I cared for this bot, a lot but doubted that he would feel the same about me. I was human, a squishy. I wouldn't even live a thousandth of the time that he would.

"Move out, go on. Move!" Epps said as we all split up to go where we were going. Brains and Wheelie went with one of the Wreckers to fire on Shockwave. When the Wrecker started to back away from the fire he left Brains and Wheelie behind as they had fallen out of his window. They were on their own as Sam and the others ran through the city.

"Hey, where you going?" Wheelie asked. "No, no, no. Stop, stop, stop. Where you going?"

"Don't leave. Never leave a bro behind," Brains said. He then glanced behind him, "Aw, Shockwave's coming."
