Are we so different?

A/N: Sorry that this is so short, but I promised something soon so here's what I came up with.

Chapter 51

Morning had come and the bots were awake. "Allison we want to help you," Bee said.

"I know you do but you all need to get your tail pipes back to the base," I said as the humans started to stir.

"It's aft pipe," Hound said.

"I know I was being polite. Now get our extras up because you all are going back to the base. Now," I said.

"You aren't Prime," Drift said.

"Hey, ninja boy, I've been leading you guys for years while Optimus was missing. The humans are hunting you and I'm not going to let other humans torture this lot to find out where you are so we're going to protect them. I can hide among the humans, humans can track you, but they can't track me so get your tail pipes to the base when I open the ground bridge."

"We don't have one Allison," Bee said.

"I'm the ground bridge Bee," I said getting annoyed.

"Stand down, we will follow her lead. She knows the humans, she used to be one," Optimus said going over to the humans and waking them. Once they were awake I commed Ratchet to let him know four Auto bots were coming through and three humans that the government wanted. He wasn't pleased but he did put up with it.

"Thank you Optimus," I said opening the bridge and everyone went through. I closed the bridge after everyone was through and headed for KSI in town. I had to get Brains out. I broke into an old junk yard just outside of town. Anyone could get into KSI if they brought vehicles for scanning. Security sucked, so did their programming of their man-made transformers. Megatron had taken over one and would surely sooner or later take over the others and use them as his army. Humans always thought they could do better than the original. I didn't look at what they were doing to the bots here, I didn't want to see.

I stole a lab coat and walked around looking for Brains. No one stopped me or looked at me twice. I found him in a glass case and he was wired to Megatron's head. "Brains," I said going up to the case.

"Allison," Brains said coming up to me. "Get me out of here."

"That's the plan," I said looking around. The room was empty so I broke the case and subspaced Brains and ran out of there before anyone could notice. I was three blocks away before I heard the alarms and I took on my car form before the police could find me. I couldn't use the bridge on myself unfortunately so I had to drive. It would take me about three hours to get to it.

"Hey let me out," Brains said pounding my back seat. I folded my back seat down and let him up front with me. I drove into the base with him. I had made it free and clear with all the Auto bots. Now I just had to steal the seed from Lockdown to rebuild Cybertron. I had everyone safe and I had 90% of the ship built.

"Allison is back!" Several of the bots cried and one rushed forward.

"Sunny!" I cried seeing my mate. It wasn't official yet, but we were happy. We were going to make things official when we were safe when we were no longer being hunted.

"Allison," Sunny said as I transformed into my Auto bot form. We were the same size now.

"When are we going home, Allison?" Ironhide asked.

"Soon Ironhide, within a few more weeks I'll have the seed and more ship parts from Lockdown. I'd say within two months we'll be in orbit. How's the building going?"

"Almost done," Wheeljack said.

"You've done all this?" Optimus asked coming to me with Elita-one by his side.

"Yeah, you didn't think I would leave you guys out there on your own did ya?" I asked.

"You should be a Prime," Optimus said. "You kept everyone safe despite the risk to yourself. You lost your family and human friends. You've been leading these guys and kept them safe."

"I did my job," I said. "I protected my family." There were a few murmurs. "Now, if you don't mind I'm going to get some much-needed sleep. New arrivals report to Ratchet for exams." With that, I went to my bunk with Sunny.
