Sequel to Blue Eyes
One year later...
It had been a while since Noel Fielding had walked through the empty corridors of a school. So silent, he could hear his own footsteps as he placed his foot down on the cold floorboards. Noticing light streaming through a large window, he ran his fingers along the windowsill. "Dusty" he commented, examining the dirt left behind on his hands. "I'm sorry, can I help you?" A voice came from behind him.
He whipped around to see a young lady standing there behind him. He breathed, taking notice of her big brown eyes and short dark hair, which was tied back at that specific moment. Can't have been much more than 5'0, however still quite beautiful.
"...are you a parent of one of the kids?" She asked "...they all left half an hour ago"
"No no" he laughed quietly "I'm not a parent"
The lady looked puzzled. "Why are you here then?"
"Well..." He began, though struggled to continue after that first word. "...I was looking for a friend of mine...what about you?" He looked at her. "Oh I'm just a cleaner" she laughed "though I really wish I wasn't"
Noel smiled and sighed, a little sad inside. "You remind me of someone" he said. "Who?" She asked in Return, sounding genuinely intreaged. He hesitated. "What was her name?"
"Cady" he smiled at the thought of her "She was a friend of mine"
The lady looked up at him and stopped in her tracks to listen. "What happened?"
