R(Michael's POV)
Now it was only a matter of time. It's been a day since our successful raid on the IMC Airbase, and soon the Battle on Demter is going to happen. However, I still feel as if I can make this change. I need to make a final effort to get Sarah back, and I will.
I slowly made my way to control room, as my left foot was in a splint, the bone slightly fractured from the blow Sarah delivered to me while she was under the control of the IMC.
Once I went in, I was a bit surprised to see the room vacant. I walked over to the main console, and there was a handwritten note from Bish.
Michael, I am currently down on Sinnoh with Sarah and MacAllan, sorting through the wreckage, searching for survivors. If you need anything, request a transmission. Also, don't forget that you have Barker with you as well.
~Bish
I sighed and put the note in my pocket, and I requested a transmission. However, I didn't request it to Bish, rather, I requested it to Graves.
I waited for a few minutes, but the IMC Vice Admiral finally appeared on the screen. "Michael, what a surprise. What can I help you with?"
"I need to talk to you and Blisk. Alone," I said, a slight growl in my voice.

They had a good point, but I had a better one. "Alright. So yeah, she's the only one that can do this, but you yourself said that she is the best fighter you've ever seen. So why would you waste that? Why waste possibly the best fighter you've had?"
Graves suddenly changed the topic. "Her parents are alive. And she has a brother. Her parents are Steven Calian and May Slonak. Her brother is Hunter Calian. Although, her brother doesn't think she's his sister."
I shook my head. "Alright, I get it, but right now, do you think that's at the top of my priorities right now?"
Graves sighed. "I'm just putting that on your radar, alright?"
I slightly rolled my eyes. "Alright. So, Blisk, what's your response to my statement?"
By now, it was obvious to me that Blisk was on his last nerves.
"Well, no matter how hard you try, you will NOT stop us from sending Sarah down! It's a done deal, and we're not changing our minds!"
With that, the feed abruptly cut off.
I wiped a few tears that were by my eyes. I can't let this happen, yet I know there is no way I can prevent this from happening.
I was about to leave the room when I heard Graves. "Michael."
I turned my attention back to the monitor, and sure enough, Graves was on the screen. "Yes?" I responded, trying hard not to cry.
Graves sighed. "Look. I'm sorry about Blisk. As you know, he has a very short temper."
I nodded. "Yeah. But you have another reason for why you called back."
He slightly chuckled. "That is correct. All I want to say is that what I said about her family... All of it is true, and from the looks of it right now, Hunter will not be going into battle, rather, he'll be assisting with your extraction from the Milita, over to the Warhog."
I sighed. "Alright. So, uh, see you soon, I guess?"
Graves nodded. "Yeah. See you soon. Although, we both know we want it to happen later, and we know that isn't going to happen."
Nodding, I cut off the feed, and went back to my room.
