Christmas Proposal In New York City With Liam~

You and Liam were in the city this Christmas so that you could take him to see the huge tree in the Rockefeller Center and then go ice skating. You were very excited as this was your first huge excursion since your surgery. Liam had been very nervous through it all and was now very happy to have you back. He wanted to spend a ton of time with you which is why you offered going to NYC in the first place.

"Em can we go to the tree now?" Liam asked like a little kid excitedly.

"Yes Li we can," you smiled at him and rolled your eyes as he drug you toward it.

You could see it clearly now being only one block away from it. When you reached it Liam couldn't help but stare up at it. At all of the decorations and the glistening lights. It was breathtaking to see and it was even more special for you seeing that smile on Liam's face. Since you had your surgery recently it was still really sore and hurt you to bend down, so when you noticed your untied shoe you tapped Liam.

"Liam, could you tie my shoe?" You asked pointing at the undone laces.

"Of course Em," he nodded as he kneeled to the ground to tie your shoe.

You were looking at the tree when you hurt a guitar being strummed. You turned to see Niall and walking with him were Harry and Louis as well. You then looked down at Liam and saw him take a hold of your left hand. You watched reach his hand into his pocket and pull out a small velvet box. At that point you had tears slipping down your cheeks.

"Emily ever since I heard about needing to get a surgery I've been a mess. I just thought about the fact that I never want to lose you. I don't want to be without you. I love you more than anything in the whole world. We've been friends since we were teenagers and now I'm proposing to you, it's amazing really. I figured this year it really could be a 'Marry (get it) Christmas'!" When he paused you let out a sob of excitement.

"Sorry," you mumbled wiping some of your tears even though you knew that wasn't the end of them.

"Don't be sorry," he chuckled. "Say you'll be my wife. Emily will you do me the honor of marrying me?"

"Of course!" As he stood up you let out a sob and threw yourself into his arms.

"I love you Mrs. Soon-To-Be-Payne," he whispered lightly pushing your hair behind your ear and delicately kissing your forehead.

"I love you so much Mr. Payne," you cried and kissed him softly.

As you two hugged the boys began singing:

You just smiled and then did all of your other activities that day with the boys. You watched them all skate around the ice rink. You couldn't since you had your surgery. You had never had a better Christmas. After all of that you all celebrated Louis' belated by a day birthday.
