The secret behind a rainbow
Is it needs a little rain
And for us human beings
A little rain means pain.
But if you get your hose
A spray it all around
You can fake a rainbow
But the colours are found.
However these colours
Are not as beautiful as true
This is the same for humans
Possibly for you.
The pain you go through
Sets you up for the future
So push through it all
It will get better
The rainbow will shine bright
Once the tears are shed
Just watch out for the fake ones
Who will 'heal' you instead.
But these ones that heal
May not be doing it right
Thus your rainbow will be fake
You will not be bright
Find the ones you truly need
The ones you truly desire
Find the love, who loves you back
The friends who help the shower
For once they come
Your rainbow will shine true
And once that happens
You'll truly be you.
