Kendall POV

I sighed. I really didn't want it to come out this way, but that's the only way she would stay, I hope. "What?" She asked. I threw up my hands, "I think I love you." She looked down, "Where did these feelings come from?" By that time she stepped away from the bus. "When we were married, you cared for me, deeply, more care than I've ever felt from someone besides my family."

She walked over. "Well if you think you love me, why didn't you wanna kiss me?" I shook my head, "I'm just confused." She smiled, but it was fake. "Well when you figure it out, tell me because you told be the same crap when we were married and I'm not going through it again." She walked away fast paced toward the opposite direction.

"Katelyn!" She was already a good distance away from me. I ran to the car and rode up to her. "Please, please I am begging you to get in the car." She kept walking. She went to the next bus stop. "Katelyn please get into the got damn car!" The bus pulled up and she got on it.

"Fuck!" I pounded my fist on the steering wheel. I drove to the house. I pulled up and walked slowly to the door. I put in the key Katelyn gave me and opened the door. "Daddy!" I smiled weakly and bent down to hug her. 

"Hey Kaylie. Did you have fun with Holden?" She nodded excitedly. "Where's Katelyn?" Holden asked. I stood up. I put my hands into my pockets. "We sorta got into it and she got pissed and took the bus." He furrowed his eyebrows. "I tried to get her to come in the car, but she didn't wanna be anywhere near me." 

"What did you do?" I sighed. "I think you'd want your sister to tell you." He nodded. "Alright then." He grabbed Kaylie's hand and they went downstairs. I plopped on the couch. I needed to focus on getting back at my dad, so that would be a good distraction from Katelyn. My phone rang and I saw it was my hacker buddy. 

"Hey what'd you find?" I asked. "Your dad has been doing some bad things, this could bring his company down." I smirked, this made my day. "Oh yeah, what's he doing?" 

"I found that he's underpaying his employees, embezzling money, and doing business with some bad people that are wanted by the FBI." My jaw dropped, "This golden, I need you to get me screenshots, documents, whatever shows that he's doing all these things, print em' out and I'll come collect." 

"You got it K-Dog." I nodded, "Thanks dude." I hung up the phone. "Holden I'll be back." I heard a faint 'ok' and then I went out the door. I opened the door and saw Katelyn. I opened my mouth, but she put her hand up. I sighed and walked passed her. I'll give her a few hours to cool down. 

I went to my car and drove to my buddy who was hacking for me. I pulled up to his house and knocked on his door. I heard a buzzing noise. I looked up and it was a camera staring right at me. "Ya gonna let me in." 

"Yeah, sorry." I jumped and held my chest. "What the?" I looked and saw a speaker. The door buzzed and I twisted the door knob. He doesn't even have to come to the door. I walked in and looked at his comic, technology, pizza box home. I walked to his control center. "Alright, here's all you need, I even filed it for you." He gave me the folder. I looked through the papers and smiled. 

"This is exactly what I need." I patted his back and walked toward the door. "Thanks again." The door buzzed, I opened it and walked out. I got into my car and drove to my lawyers' office.  I walked up to the door and pressed the button and spoke into the box. "It's Kendall Schmidt."

The door opened and their doorman let me in. I walked into their office. "I need to bring my father down and everything I need to do it is right here in this folder." I pointed at it and threw it on the table. One of my lawyers picked it up and looked through it. "He's right, I mean this is golden. He won't be in business much long." I smirked. 

"I just need you to arrange a court date and contact my father or his lawyer. Keep the evidence please. Call me and tell me when the date is set." They nodded and I walked out. I sighed. This situation is basically settled. 

I guess I could go and try and talking to Katelyn. I drove back to the house. I opened the door and saw Katelyn laying on the couch. I put the key on the table and took coat and suit jacket off. I walked over to her. "Can you at least pretend to listen to me?" 

She nodded. I sat down on the chair. "I'm sorry, I've been trying to get my feelings together for the last six years. I really have, but this is something I've never felt before, this is something that I hate to have in me and I want it to go away. At the same time, I don't want it to go away because I realized it's my love for you. I rarely say I love you to my mother, but I can say it to you because it's a whole new love I've never felt before and I like it. I am not the type of person, as you know, to be all soft and caring, but you've brought that person out in me and I hate you for it, but it leads me to say these three words that I never thought in my entire life I would be saying to someone besides my family: I love you." 

I looked at her. She was crying. "Kendall I hated you so much, but toward the end of our fake marriage I started developing feelings for you. Hard. I saw this side of you I have never seen before and it was at that moment that I knew you were the one for me. I love you Kendall." My eyes were glossy, they hadn't been in a long time. 

She came over, sat on my lap, and kissed me. I kissed her back it was the best feeling ever. We just sat there a while in each other's arms, embracing the moment.
