Learn To Love Again (Liam Payne)

*Liam's POV*

We all sat on the floor and talked, Dani translating for Stormy's supposed ghost. I didn't know what it was, but I just felt her presence. I felt her there, next to me.

"I missed this, we haven't hung out like this since, well, since you guys got back from tour." Dani said, smiling slightly. She then turned her head to the left and giggled "that works too!"

I assume Ghostly Stormy had said something funny. Oh how I missed her face. I wanted to see it so bad, I needed to see it. To hear her voice again, her laugh...

"Hey Liam, where did Chloe go again?" I snapped out of my thoughts and faced Michael.

"Oh, uh.. She had to work." I said, frowning slightly.

"Oh boo hoo, I'm sure you'll live without her for a few hours."

My head frantically looked around for the source of Stormy's voice. It was HER voice, I would know it anywhere.

"Wha.. Who said that?!" I panicked. Dani looked to where 'Stormy' was with wide eyes.

"Liam... Can you hear me?"

Her voice again, her beautiful voice. I nodded my head.

"Yeah, I can hear you." Dani smiled at me and then back at 'Stormy' before standing up.

"Hey Mikey, I'm hungry. Wanna go get something to eat with me?" She asked him. Michael took the hint and stood up as well.

"Sure, I'm starved. We'll grab you something Li!" He said before following Dani down the hall. She turned around and gave me a small wink which I returned with a silent 'thank you.' She nodded, smiling before they turned the corner, leaving 'Stormy' and I alone. This would be the first time I was thankful to have a one-on-one with her.

"So is there a reason we were left alone or...?" I heard Stormy trail off. I jumped clear out of my skin when I turned back around to see her sitting there.

"You-but-wow..." Was all I managed. She wasn't wearing a hospital gown, or a white dress like in cheesy movies. She was wearing what she would want to wear. Her long brown hair was swept away from her face in a ponytail. She wore her favorite sweatshirt... Oddly enough it was MY Batman sweatshirt and her favorite skinny jeans with black converse. She looked.....

Well, she looked beautiful.

"What? What's wrong Li?" She asked frantically. I smiled at her, hoping she would just catch on.

She did.

Her eyes widened along with her smile. She scooted over closer to me and looked me in the eyes.

"You can see me?" She asked hopefully. I nodded my head. She squealed with happiness before going to give me a hug, but just before we touched she pulled back.

She put her head in her hands and sighed sadly.

"What's wrong Love?" Storm shook her head and lifted it to look at me, her eyes red.

"We won't be able to feel each other, Dani and I already tried it."

She wiped away a tear that had escaped. I gave her a small smile and lowered my head to look at her face.

"But I'm not Dani..." I whispered. Stormy look at me, confused. I brought up my hand and stuck it out.

"Try and hold my hand."

She just shook her head.

"You'll just be disappointed." She said.

I shook my head.
