Patrick's Pov
That expression on her face, was the one that worried me the most. I told her about how I felt, and how it was best to postpone the wedding right now. She maintained silent not looking at me, for about ten minutes there was no response. I did want to say something, but I just sat there waiting for her to speak up.
"W-We agreed to all of this Patrick, you were the one that asked me to marry you. Now your saying you don't want to do this anymore, you led me on... Can't you see Pete only cares about himself, fuck he's not even giving you time to think with all those lies that he's telling you!"
"Elisa, I'm sorry... I don't really know what I want right now, I don't even know if I want to be with Pete. The only thing I have in mind is my kid, he's the only one I'm think of right now. Besides if I'm asking for time, is because your not the same anymore."
"How do you want me to act after the news that you were pregnant because you had drunk sex with you best friend? That baby and Pete are always going to get in the way of everything."
"This is my fault and Pete's. Not the baby's..."
"Yeah, your right. A baby that was never suppose to exist, a baby that will always get in my way..."
"I hate the type of person you have become. Don't blame it on us that your this way, if you decided it to be the way you are on your own... I know now that no matter how much time passes you'll always have resentment. I also don't need time to think about being with you. I'm sorry Elisa, but I want you to leave."
"Fine, I will. But this isn't the last time you'll hear from me Patrick. I'll make you and Pete get what you deserve."
"Are you threatening me?"
"Take it how ever you want." she says leaving upstairs to get her things. Before I could talk to her about what she meant she was out the door. It was best I didn't want to give her false hope, most importantly I didn't want my kid to live with a person that hated him on something he didn't do.
