Secrets Unknown (Httyd/Rtte Fanfic)

"Okay, Toothless, gimme a small plasma blast," Hiccup told Toothless. Toothless shot a plasma blast and started a fire.
"Thanks, Bud," Hiccup said, petting Toothless. "We need a plan," He said, watching the fire.
"A plan?" Astrid said, "A plan for what?" Hiccup looked at Astrid.
"A plan to get Eydis away from Dagur. Knowing him, he might hurt her," He said.
"You're right. Dagur just might hurt her. But do we really need to get her?" Astrid replied. "Yes. We do." Hiccup answered. "She's been on her own for this long, she can save herself if she really needs saving," Astrid pointed out. "Unless Dagur is just pretending to be her friend and she believes him," Hiccup replied.
They sat in silence for a small amount of time. 

"Dagur kissed Eydis." Hiccup said out of nowhere. "He what?!" Astrid looked at Hiccup with big eyes.

"He kissed her. Eydis said they aren't in a relationship, though, I highly doubt that."
"Well, that's unlike Dagur, to be in a relationship," Astrid said, looking at the fire.
"It is unlike him. I think he's up to something," Hiccup said thoughtfully.
"What would he be up to, though?" Astrid asked.
"With Dagur, it's hard to tell."

"C'mon girl," Eydis whispered to her dragon.
"Eydis! Where are you going so late at night?"
"Oh! Dagur, uh. We just needed some air. We'll be back soon." Eydis said quickly.
"Hmm. Alright." Dagur shrugged, walking back inside the captain's quarters. Eydis sighed and climbed on StarSong.
"He never really was that bright, huh?" Eydis whispered, "Okay, let's go, girl." StarSong took off and flew through the sky.

"There it is, girl! Take us down." Eydis said, putting her hood on. StarSong landed and Eydis jumped off.
"He's gotta be here," She said, running through the village, "There he is, StarSong. C'mon!" Eydis whispered.

"Hiccup!"
"Eydis! What are you doing here?" Hiccup asked. "I need to talk to you," Eydis said, looking down. "About what?" Hiccup asked.

"I'm sorry. About yelling at you. I know that you and Dagur aren't on the best of terms, but I have to stay with Dagur. I just came to apologize. I'm sorry for yelling at you, I'm sorry for bothering you when I came here the first time, I'm sorry I have to stay with Dagur, and I'm sorry you and Dagur are enemies. I hope you understand why I have to stay with him," Eydis sighed.
"I...I completely understand. You have known him longer than we have," Hiccup looked at the ground.
"I'm gonna go now. I'll... See you later. Let's go, girl." Eydis climbed on StarSong and took off. Eydis gave Hiccup one last look, then flew off.

"Stay quiet, girl." Eydis whispered to StarSong, as they landed on the ship, very quietly. Eydis climbed off of StarSong, and brought her to the bottom of the ship.

"I've been waiting for you to get back."
Eydis turned around and saw Dagur. "Oh, Dagur, you scared me," Eydis let out a sigh of relief.
"Oh, I'm sorry I scared you," He said, smirking, "Eydis, where did you go?" Dagur walked closer to Eydis.
"For a ride, just like I said when I left," Eydis said, backing up.
"Most rides don't last many hours," Dagur said. Eydis glanced around, then looked back at Dagur. "Why not? StarSong and I take many hour-long rides all the time!" Eydis answered, backing into a wall.

Dagur stepped right in front of her. "Eydis."
"W-what?"
"Why did you leave? Are you...scared of me?"
"What? No! Only when you're backing me into a wall and towering over me as if you were gonna kill me," Eydis smiled nervously.
Dagur hugged her. "Uh, Dagur...?" Eydis muttered. No reply.
 "Would you mind if I get some rest? It's almost dawn, and I'm really tired." Eydis asked. Dagur smiled at her. "Alright. Tomorrow's a big day! Getting more ships for my armada!" Dagur smirked as he left.
Eydis watched him leave, then as soon as he was gone, she took her bracelet off and looked at it. She sighed, "I swear I saw this carving somewhere in Berk," She whispered to StarSong.
