You might not think of us as strangers
But everyone else would.
We can be best friends one day
Then the next you leave me on the dust
I try to keep up

So why is it I feel like it's not true?

Nobody could ever like me!

That these voices were right!

A life full of hate?
A life controlled by a spiral of lies?
Every emotion being forced?
Every smile having a bit of saddness?
And nobody noticing?

Could you just stop?

Ahhh remember when we were childeren?
Everything was so simple.
But then the peace was ruined.
People began to lie.
People began to be fake.
People began to leave others behind.
People began to led others on.
That's what you do!

As much as I doubt that
I think of you like that
As a friend
A friend who lies and betrays me
