Partly because it wasn't something she got to decide, partly because I really liked Marco.
"You know what? So I'm not a slut like you, too bad" I said, but regretted it again.
"I'm sorry" I said, trying to smile at her.
The anger disappeared from her face and a smile crossed her lips. Julia and Sophie caught each other's eyes, before both turning their gaze at me.
"You like him!" Sophie said, biting her lip.
All I could do was blush and nod.
"We need every single detail!" Julia said, but then the doorbell rang.
I knew it was my mom, so I took my things and walked to the door.
"Later" I said, and they both nodded.
I opened the door, greeted my mom and we went home.
**
"You need to tell us what happened! We've been waiting the last two days!" Julia said, as she sat down on the floor.
I shrugged my shoulders, before hanging a dress on the hanger. I checked the prize tags on the newest dresses from the stop and changed the prize if it was wrong.
"Come on!" Sophie said, making me blush again.
"There's nothing much to tell" I whispered, not wanting my mom to overhear the conversation.
"Mila, seriously" they begged, which made me turn around to face them.
"Fine! We got back to his place and I just... couldn't do it, but he was so cool with that and I spend the night, okay?" I said, raising my eyebrow.
I picked up another box, starting to hang the dresses up.
"So you slept at his place?"
"Yes"
"Did you kiss after you stopped it?"
"Not really, I was kind of embarrassed"
"Why?"
"I'm so unexperienced in this area, like... I'm awkward" I shrugged.
"So is he going to contact you or?" Julia asked, but Sophie hit her shoulder.
"He's like... old" she said like it was obvious.
"He's only 24!" I protested, making them look at me.
"And your 19" Sophie said, but Julia cut her off.
"So what?"
"Thank you-" I said, looking at her.
"I gave him my number anyway" I mumbled, looking down.
I that moment Julia got up and hugged me tight.
"My girl is growing up"
"I don't know, he hasn't texted or called yet" I whined, as I got out of her grip.
"Mila! More working, less talking!" I heard my mother yell from the other room, making me roll my eyes.
Again I turned my attention to the dresses.
"He'll call, don't worry"
"Maybe" I said.
They both hugged me, before leaving the store, leaving me to my work. Suddenly, my phone buzzed, but it was in the middle of me hanging dresses up, so I didn't really focus when I picked up the phone.
"Hello?" I mumbled.
Fumbling with a dress, that wouldn't stick to the hanger.
"Hello... is this Mila?"
"Yeah? Who is this?" I asked, getting more and more annoyed at the stupid dress.
"Marco... Marco Reus?" he said and I dropped the dress.
I can't believe I didn't recognize his voice.
"Hi! Yeah, of course!" I said, a bit over happy.
I could hear Marco laugh in the other end of the phone.
"Is this a bad time? You seem a bit... tied up?"
"No, just working" I said, biting my lips.
Gosh, his voice was sexy, wasn't it? I felt how my heart skipped a beat, so I sat down on the box.
"Working on a Monday always sucks"
"Tell me about it" I whined, actually feeling a bit sorry for myself.
"So what's up?" I asked, trying not to sound too desperate.
"I was just wondering, if you wanted to meet up some time?" Marco asked and once again, my cheeks started burning.
I had to take a deep breath to calm myself down, before I was able to force anything out of my mouth.
"Sure, I'd like that" I said, not able to remove the huge smile on my face.
"Great!" Marco said, happily.
I could hear he cleared his throat, as he realized he'd might have said that too thrilled. It made me giggle.
"What do you have in mind?"
"I thought maybe we could go for a walk? There's this beautiful park like 5 minutes away from my flat, I know it's a bit cold you-"
"No, that's sounds great, I'd like that"
"Great, are you free tomorrow?" I was just about to tell him, I had classes from eight to three, but I bit my tongue ,so I stopped in the middle of my sentence.
"I have... work tomorrow until four, but we can meet up at five?" Marco offered, making me sight of relief.
I wondered why he was stuttering the word work, but it didn't stick in my head.
"Yeah, that would be great"
"So I'll see you?"
"You definitely will" I said, before Marco hang up the phone.
Marco left me out of breath, giggling and with butterflies in my stomach. There was just one thing.... I had to figure out what to tell my mom.
