"because i was scared ashton" luke says, voice cracking.

here come the tears, he thought.

ashton breathes heavily,

"so goodbye ashton, i'll put you out of your misery by leaving now, a-all i want is you happy. and if me leaving does that for you, then i'll go. i just want you to be happy. thats-- thats all i ever wanted."

that night luke cries himself to sleep on the same street, same place and same position for a second time, regretting the day he entered this harsh world.
