so i lied lmao but i have the next part done so i could publish it now but remember how updates were originally meant to be wednesday? well i would prefer to post it them so i could finally say 17 chapters later and i got the updates back on track as there is maybe like one chapter left lol idk

the signs.

the signs that were once slowly revealing themselves one by one, stopped.

but they're back, and they're here to cause more trouble.

let me explain;

luke sat in deep thought of the dream and he realises what happened isn't just a dream.

well it was, but it's mainly a sign.

everything that had happened recently, are all signs.

and they're telling him, warning him, that him and ashton shouldn't be together.

call him crazy, but it was true.

their parents not liking the other boy, or each other. ashton's colleagues not liking the relationship, luke's friends telling him things about dominants at school. the dream and everything said in it-- they were all signs that this relationship is nothing but trouble.

well that's what luke thinks.

something doesn't want him and ashton together, but he does.

so he is determined to prove them wrong.. to show everyone that the signs are nothing more than the devil's doing and luke's worry is nothing but his devillish whisperings.

so as luke paces the room mumbling incoherent sentences to ashton, the older man takes some time to think of their relationship while luke tries to calm down the raging battle of his mind against his heart.

ashton took a breath, they were bipolar with the whole 'bdsm thing', somedays it is a bdsm relationship (mostly when it comes to sex) but others it's not;

like today.

most people found it weird, or they just didn't approve of that lifestyle.

however, ashton didn't care, but luke did.

the small blonde worries too much sometimes.

or maybe ashton worries too little.

"are you listening to me!?"

"um- yeah?" the darker blonde says, sounding more like a question.

"something doesn't want us to be together, ash" luke whines, "but i don't know what.. and it's really bugging me!"

"why does it matter? i don't believe in superstitious shit anyway, luke"

"it matters because.. because- it just does, okay?!" the smaller one snaps. "besides, you're the one who said it!" luke protests with a pout.

"what?"

"oh wait, that was the dream" luke says in realisation.
