This time, I was numb, I had nothing to say, or I couldn't get it out of my mouth. Marco softly placed his hand on my cheek, stroking it a bit.

"And all of these insecurities, they have left scars in your heart, scars that makes it hard for you to trust people, believe in the good in people. I saw those scars the first time I looked into your eyes, the very first night we met-" he started, but the paused.

Marco didn't remove his eyes from mine, as he softly let his fingertip slide over my lips.

"And those are the scars, I am here trying to mend"

"Am I really that broken, if you can tell just from my eyes" I asked, feeling my eyes tear up.

You're not broken, just bruised" he smiled.

"And a bit younger and a little less wise" he continued, making me flash a little smile.

"But can you live with that?" I asked, holding my breath.

I actually had no idea, what he was going to answer, honestly. I am hard work, I know that. Marco giggled a little, before rolling his eyes.

"If I couldn't, I would be standing here right now" he smiled, before pulling me into a hug.

I let Marco burry my head in his chest, softly letting him stroke the back of my hair.

It was weird, I had never talked to Marco about any of this, but he knew and everything he said, it was true. It was like he could read me, like a completely open book. Marco was right for me, if he could love me with all my flaws, love me even when I couldn't love myself, there was no doubt anymore.

"So do you forgive me?" Marco whispered in my ear, before kissing my neck.

"Depends. Carolin is like-"

"Completely out of the way"

"Then yes" I said, licking my lips.

Marco lifted my chin with his thumb, before placing three quick kisses on my burning lips.

"Then, I actually have something to ask you" he said, smiling.

Marco pulled out a little box, handing it to me.

"What is this?"

"Open and find out" he smirked, so that's what I did.

I opened the little box, that reviled a gold necklace. On the necklace was handing a pendant with an MR, it was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

"Mila, will you be my girlfriend?" Marco asked, a huge smile flashed on his face.

"Yes!" I smiled back, giving him a kiss.

"Okay, so this necklace makes sure that everybody knows you're mine, and mine only" he laughed, licking his lips.

"I like the sound of that" I whispered, letting my finger slide over it.

"And, if you turn it around, I had 'I love you' engraved" Marco said, turning the necklace.

"I love it, Marco. So much" I smiled, before once more, placing a kiss on his lips.

"I'm glad" he said, before taking the necklace and putting it on me.

"I'm never taking it off"

"That was kind of the point" he laughed.

Our eyes met and Marco's eyes had now gone back to what they used to be, glowing and sparkling.

"So I told them about your family crisis... you want to get out of here?" Marco asked, I rolled my eyes at him.

"Yeah, I just have to go pee" I smiled, before walking towards the bathroom.

MARCO'S POV

I sat down, not able to remove the smile, that had turned up on my lips.

I had worried all day, if she would take everything I had to say as a bad thing. Now knowing that she hadn't, it was like a stone had been lifted off my shoulders. I actually found a real girl, someone who wasn't with me for fame or money, though I needed to learn her the football rules, but she didn't care about all those material things, she just cared about me. It just made me so incredible sad, that Mila was that ripped down. I didn't get, why she doubted herself so much. Didn't she think she was worthy of love and good things happening? I mean, I remember all the pressure, but I think her case is much worse than mine were. But even though she was scared, she had so much love to give and I'm gonna show her that I do too. My thought were interrupted, when someone said my name.

"Marco?" Sebastian asked surprised.

"Yeah, hey" I said, standing up.

We shook hands, but he seemed a bit colder than he would usually be around me, maybe just because we aren't really friends and we don't know each other. I have to be nice towards him though. He is important to Mila, apparently.

"Have you seen Mila?"

"She in the bathroom, why?"

"She was called up here and I promised to come get her after class. I'm worried something is wrong" he said, but he didn't look at me.He just kept his eyes at the floor.

"Yeah, that was kind of me" I admitted, making Sebastian look at me.

He didn't really say anything, he just nodded. What was his problem?

"So you guys are all cool now?"

"Yeah, we're good" I said, giving him a smile.

Sebastian licked his lips, before taking a step closer to me. His face was cold and there was not a single emotion to be found. Not the friendly type, I guess.

"I swear to god, Marco Reus, if you ever - and I repeat - ever hurt her again, I will hunt you down and I will kill you" Sebastian said, and I could tell he was being dead serious.

"Mila has had enough people walking into her life, before just leaving her again and I'm not letting that happen again. Don't ever hurt her, because I will hurt you" he said, raising an eyebrow.

"I-... You're in love with her" I mumbled, starring at him.

Gosh, I can't believe I hadn't seen that before. It was so obvious, Sebastian was head over heels for her.

"Yeah, but I want her to be happy, I'm just warning you" he said.

I wanted to say something, but Mila appeared down the hall and I knew it couldn't.

"Hi Sebastian" she said, smiling at him.

His face turned from cold and angry, to loving and kind. I saw the way he looked at her now, like she was his entire world.

"Yo" he greeted, giving her a smile.

"What's going on?" she asked, obviously feeling the tension hanging in the air.

Neither Sebastian or I said anything.

"seriously, what is it?"
