"And sometimes... it's like you don't even care, you don't care that is hurts me" I shrugged, sighting heavily.
"That's not true, I care. I just... You're hard to figure out sometimes, Mila. And you don't give any clues away"
"I know, I know I'm... wrong-"
"That wasn't what I said, but you're not easy to read and when something is wrong, you don't tell me. You want me to be this mind reader, I'm no superman, I can't do that" Marco whispered, sighting.
I licked my lips, as a teardrop had stuck on them. I sniffled, meeting his eyes.
"So what now?" I asked, blank.
"What?" Marco asked confused, wrinkling his forehead.
"Do you want to break up?" I stuttered, feeling my chest hurt.
"No! I want you to tell me something, let me know I can do something" he said, begging.
"I just need... some sort of security, you know? That you're serious about me... us. That I'm not some rebound..." I sighted, meeting Marco's eyes.
"And I don't know, if you can give me that" I whispered, out of breath.
It almost hurt in my chest, having to say those words. Because deep down, I didn't know it, I wasn't sure. Marco had been so serious with Carolin, so maybe he wasn't ready to give me, what I truly needed. Honestly, it broke my heart thinking about. I couldn't keep my eyes om him, so I just looked out at the lake.
A silence spread between us, and the only thing you could hear, was our heavy breathing. I closed my eyes, fearing what Marco might say. I didn't know, if my world was about to be torn apart, or what would happen. It made it even harder for me to breath. Marco shrugged, still not daring to look at me either.
"Move in with me" he mumbled, suddenly. It almost made me drop my jaw.
"What?" I whispered, meeting his eyes.
"Move in with me, move into my house" he said, a bit louder this time.
"What- I-" I stuttered, but I couldn't get anything out.
I definitely didn't see that one coming.
"You're done with school in a couple of months, it's only a 15 minutes train ride. Let me prove to you, that I'm serious about us" Marco said, dead serious, as he caught my eyes.
"Are you serious?"
"Yes"
"Are you asking, because you feel like you have to?"
"No, Mila. I want you to. I love when you're there and I hate it when you have to leave. Move in with me" he said, flashing a smile.
"Are you sure?" I asked, feeling a smile spread.
"Never been more sure about anything" Marco laughed, flashing his crocked smile.
"Yes! I want to" I smiled, pulling him into a hug.
But a little knot had formed in my stomach. Was I ready for this, or was I caught off guard of adrenaline?

"I can't tell you what to do, Mila!" Erik laughed, shaking his head.
"Fine!" I said, rolling my eyes.
We were at Marco's house, lying on the sofa. My feet were resting on his lap and he softly stroked my lower legs. Marco was at Marcel's, having a get together with some of his childhood friends, so I'd called Erik over, so I wouldn't be alone.
