This chapter is going to be from Emma's point of view. This won't be a regular thing, but I thought it would be different to have a chapter from her side. Thank you so much for your reads, votes, and comments.

Emma's POV

I slammed the door behind me and headed back towards my little yellow car. I didn't mean to shut the door with such force, but I was tense. I had so much going on at the moment, and finding out that Zoe's real name was Phoebe Jones, the same name as my lost daughter, just added even more stress to my already stressful life. Nothing has been normal since the day my beautiful daughter was practically ripped out of my arms, not that I can remember a lot since then.

I didn't know exactly where I was going. At first, I thought I was going to go and see my parents. They always seemed to be able to make me smile, no matter how stressed or upset I was. Even though the plan was to have a deep conversation with Mary Margeret over a hot drink, I ended up driving past their apartment and making my way towards the sea. I had to talk to Killian.

The reason Killian had been staying on the Jolly Roger was that me and him were taking a break. I still loved him more than I thought was ever possibly, but losing our daughter was tearing us both apart. Killian and I both blamed ourselves for what happened to Phoebe, even though there was nothing we could do to stop her being ripped from her home. We had started arguing over irrelevant things and would sometimes spend days without having a proper conversation. It was breaking my heart not waking up to Killian's face each morning, but we decided a break would be better than completely destroying our already broken family.

I had been on my husband's ship many many times before. The piece of wood connecting the ship to the docks was out, so I could walk right on to the boat. Killian has told me the technical word for little bridge dozens of times before, but I couldn't remember it to save my life.

"Killian." I shouted as I walked onto the deck of his ship.

"Emma?" Killian had been sitting near where the ship's wheel was, but he quickly made his way I get to me. "How are you?"

"I'm okay." I admitted. I could smell rum in his breath. He may not have been a little tipsy, but I couldn't wait any longer. "We need to talk."

Killian nodded slighly before walking over towards some steps to the left of the ship. We used the stairs as seats instead of finding some actual chairs.

"So, what do you need to talk to me about, love?" The Irish pirate asked.

I didn't know how to ease him into what I wanted to tell him, so I was quite blunt. Much like 16 years earlier when I told him I was pregnant.

"I've kind of befriended a teenager who arrived in town a couple of days ago. She needed help, so I helped her. Saviour's duty, or whatever." I began to explain without rambling or going completely off topic. "At first, she told me her name was Zoe. It was only a quarter of an hour ago when I realised her real name is Phoebe...Pheobe Jones."

There was a long pause. During this pause, I realised how cold the oceon breeze was. I was shivering, but Killian didn't look like he was feeling the weather. He was looking straight ahead, taking everything in.

"Do you think?" He turned to me. He didn't need to finish his sentence for me to know exactly what he meant. Killian and I had never been a very emotional pair, but his eyes had suddenly become very glassy and I could feel a tear tickling my cheek as it rolled down my face. I nodded and looked down at my den covered knees before Killian pulled me in for a hug.

"There is a tiny chance we could be wrong, but every time I think about it I think about little similarities she had to us." I told Killian. Tears were now freely streaming down my face.

"Blue eyes?" Killian asked. When our daughter was a baby, she had brightest blue eyes I had ever seen. Most babies are born with blue eyes and they  later change to other colours, but Phoebe's never had done.

"Yes, and she likes cinnamon on her hot cocoa!" I exclaimed. That was something me, Henry, and now possibly Phoebe had inherited from Snow.

There was a silence for a while. Killian rocked me in his arms like a baby.

"Does she know?" He finally said in a very quite voice, as if Phoebe herself was a metre away.

"She has no idea." I began to sob more.

"You're in no state to go home like this. Henry will have a million questions. You're also shivering, so you're staying here until you've warmed up and dried your beautiful eyes." Killian insisted. He took me below deck where he found me a big, cosy blanket.

"Thanks." I said once I had calmed down a little.

"You don't need to thank me, Emma. I love you and it hurts me to see you so distraught." Killian smiled, but it was a sad smile. He had come so far from when he was a selfish pirate sailing the seven seas. "Would you like a drink? I think I have some coffee."

"To be honest, I'd rather just have a sip of your rum. Or a gulp." I sighed. Killian willingly handed me his silver flask.

We sat and talked for the next hour or so. It wasn't all about Phoebe, but a lot of our conversation was. It was so nice spending time with someone I knew so well and knew me so well.

I leaned in to kiss Killian without any warning. I was suprised at how spontaneous I was, but not surprised enough to stop. It felt like the first time I kissed Captain Hook in Neverland, as both were very unexpected.

"I'm sorry." I could feel my cheeks burning. I didn't know why I was embarrassed, but I was.

"You do know that I love you don't you?" Killian asked. "I can't imagine a life with me not loving you, but I think it's best that we stay separated until everything is more normal."

"I completely agree." I nodded. "I love you too."

My eyes were mainly dried, so I thanked Killian for comforting me and went back towards my car. I could guarantee my mascara will have been dripping down from under my eyes, but luckily I found some baby wipes and a concealer in the glove compartment of my yellow bug. I had only had a swig of whisky and had now completely stopped sobbing, so was safe to drive back to my house.
