Lieutenant Commander Watson
To put things simply, my life has been interesting due to the fact that I am a mix of races. Three races, to be exact. With an Andorian father and a half-Vulcan mother, both my appearance and my emotional capabilities are especially unique.
It was only logical for me to pursue a career in combat, seeing as I have the confrontational habits of an Andorian but can implement the composure of a Vulcan when necessary. I began my career in Star Fleet at the age of fifteen, one of the youngest recruits to ever be accepted to the Academy.
My name is Lieutenant Commander Astrid Meredith Watson, chief security officer and third in command of the USS Enterprise.
This is the computer log of the strangest and most perilous mission of my life.
