Another World

"Tess, time for school. Come on get up lazybones." Chuckles and picks me up then puts me on the ground  get up and shakes me.

Ugg stop stop I'm up. Groans and rubs my eyes to see a guy with brown hair, blue eyes and a little mustache then my eyes snap open "James?! I hug him "so mom finally let you back inside the house?" I ask still yawning

"Yep, well she did have a little fit but I heard them arguing they sound really upset. He narrows his eyes and mumbles. I think they are divorcing....." His voice trailed off.

What? I tilt head and says in a worry tone "whats wrong?"

"Nothing" I'm glad your here, rubs her hear and messes her hair up more.

Stop and pulls his hand away and pushes him out to get change then comes out with jeans  and a red top with a blue beanie.

I walks downstairs and sees my mom slam the door then grabs a piece of toast and gets on my bike to school.

"Hey" Tess He rides my skateboard beside her.

"Hey, Chris waves and looks at him for a second you look terrible lol he laughs what happened, did you get in a fight yesterday?"

"Nope, I barely got any sleep I was...(yawns) up all night taking care if my baby sister, she was crying so much and my step parents didn't calm her down so I sang her to sleep"

"Oh" I stop and chains my bike on the bike rack. "you sure you're gonna be ok? You look...down". I tilt my head.

I'm" yawns" good maybe PE will wals me up *chuckles but almost stumbles and I feel a hand grab my shoulder.

"You don't- "

"I'm fine Tess, please just let me be for today" he smiles then walks in the school with me just pull through today man....for her "anyway what class do you have? "

"Art, PE, science and history. We have PE and art together" so I shrug and smile

"We have more classes than that but I'm too lazy to name them...." I yawn once more and my eyes close.

*Giggles "lets go".

*time skip*

"Mom, dad I'm home!" Its was quiet, too quiet so I walk around but I see bottle all over and then my mom screaming. "Mom! " I said terrified and runs upstairs but only see my dad punch me.

" Get up.." He hiccups.

Curls up in a ball on the floor instinctively. "w-what?" I slowly get up but I get punched then he walked away. I scrambled up to my room and plopped down on my bed and cry myself to sleep.

*next morning*

Runs downstairs then out the door crying but wearing sunglasses, drops off my bike and rushes into school but bumps into Stephen

"Woah, whats the hurry and nice shades" he hears sniffling from her but she just stands there. "Hey, you ok? "

I put my head down but then I rush past him, bumping him aside and going into class. "sorry......" I mutter.

"Whats up with her?" The bell rang and everyone walked out of class. I catch up with Chris and Nicky, "hey guys, have you seen Tess?"

"No...." they both answered. "but she looked kinda upset this morning, don't know"

"I hope she's ok" he looks worried.

"Look dude, we all know you like her so just tell her already" he smirks at him "I'll even help you eh" Chris nudges Stephan's arm then laughs.
