Another World

It was getting dark and the sun started to set and everyone went home. The streets were empty as  street lights shut off and the wind blew through the air, Chris looked through the window. He was putting on his shirt then looked at Nicky who was doing the same. "Are you ready to go?" Chris started walking out. I

"I am" Her voice was joyful and excited then skipped to the door and ran out, he followed her and they ended up in front of the bookstore. "How are we supposed to get in?"

Chris looked over at her. "Do you have a hairpin?" When she nodded and gave her the hairpin, he grabbed it and walked to the door then jabbed it in trying to pick the lock. When he did, they went inside then closed the door behind him. "Let's go"

Nicky went down to the basement and went to the computer, took the tarp off and pressed the keys, it turned on and they was two files that said "DO NOT OPEN" She was about the click them and put the headphones on but the man dressed in the business suit grabbed her and tossed her harshly on the ground. "Ow"

Chris saw that and punched the guy in the face then started kicking him. "Get to the computer, now" he watched her go on but the guy grabbed him and flipped him then ran the the computer, Chris scrambled up, jumped on him then flipped over then pushed him back as fast as he can.

Nicky put the headphones on and clicked the two files but it loaded. "You've got to be kidding me" She typed and presses the keyboard and hit the screen. "Load faster!" She yelled at it.

"It's not what?!" Chris got punched in the face then tackled.

"Its speeding up, 50......60......70....80....90....91.....come on" it froze again.

Chris scrambled up and tackled the guy suddenly punching him in the face as fast and hard as he can repeatedly but he got kneed, when he fell over, the guy grabbed Chris's arm and snapped it like a twig.

"Ahh!!" Chris screaming in pain because the guy kept bending his arm the wrong way even though it was broken. Then, the guy looked at Nicky and rushed toward her.

The two files finally loaded so she clicked it and closed her eyes but a pulse came out blasting across the room, when she got hit, her appearance reverted to her blonde hair, one-shoulder top with fingerless gloves and white pants. "Woah" her eyes widen as everything started to change.

The room dissolved, leaving only pavement and what looked like a game. She looked around and saw they were outside when tall buildings towered over her and everything just looked so futuristic. She got up and put the headphones down then run to Chris.

"I'll be fine.." He had his normal black hair, the black sports shirt with the green streaks and black pants with his hair covering his forehead. He held his arm lightly but just let it drop. "Wait..." He looked around. "This looks exactly like the- did you make it real?!"

"Yes sir" she smiled as she looked around. "You're welcome by the way"

"Wow and thanks for the help" He smiled but heard groaning so he turned around and saw the guy  lying  on the ground. "Should we knock him out?" He started to walk toward him.

"The pulse might've made him weak so I don't think he can't do anything for a bit. Let's go find Stephan and see if he has found Tess." She started walking when she heard Chris yell then tackled her and covering her. "Why did you-" She heard an explosion behind her. She felt him hug her tightly as she tried to get up.

"I got you" He said weakly and got up, helping her up he couldn't see anything because they was so much dust everywhere. "What the hell?" He squinted but he could barely see. "So much dust" he started to cough a little.

"What was that?" Nicky looked over where he was looking and squinted as well. "I can't see any-" she got hit by a rock flying toward her knocking her back.

"Nicky" He looked at her then where the rock came from. He saw a figure and when the figure came into the clear it was a man. In defense, Chris got his triton out and narrowed his eyes.
