Work came a few days later, and I'm getting used to the task of an intern. But at the same time, I'm working out some plans in my head on how to convince Kira for our storyboard.
Our last attempt was just the beginning, it may be off and bad but it shouldn't end that way as well.
But how could I make it not end that way?...
I sighed, tucking some stray strands of hair behind my ear from my bun, which was now half-way down the back of my head and messy.
I looked at my wristwatch, seeing it's few minutes before our afternoon break.
Just a little more, [f/n]
It's how the internship go, all of us were occupied and busy. Neither Eren nor the others spared me glances whenever our paths crossed in the midst of work. Except for Sasha who would whine at me shortly before going back to her work.
Break came, I didn't recollect with the others as I wanted some time alone to think about my plan.
Or mostly, our plan since Eren joined into the fray.
I decided to hang around in the lounge this time, sitting down on one of the leather sofas as I sipped from the canned coffee I got from the vending machine.
There were a few people here and there since the interns were the only ones who have a break at this time of the day.
I tried to focus as I think, but nothing came into my mind.
"[f/n]?"
Hanji came, a can of coffee in her hand.
"Hanji-san? Aren't you doing work?" I asked, seeming suspicious on why she's here. If ever she's slacking off, then we'll leave the rest to Levi to do something about it.
She chuckled "I just took a short break"
"Does Levi know?"
"Shh"
"Oho, don't come to me or I'll get dragged in with your trouble"
"No, no don't worry about that! I'm about to go back anyway" She laughed before chugging down her coffee and tossing the can into the bin.
"You look a little...glum. You okay?" Hanji asked as she leaned on the wall by the couch.
"Oh and about Kira? Did you convinced her already?" Hanji sounded worried, and it's a surprise that for the first time we had a decent conversation.
She sighed "[f/n], I don't mean to pressure you but, if we don't get her within this week we'll he printing a blank column in the short story" she rubbed her temple "That'll be a hard stuff to explain..." She mumbled.
I felt the pressure worsen, and I started thinking fast about what to do with it. But there's no other way but to continue and try to convince her over and over again.
I'll think about it later
"I...we haven't, Hanji. Me and Eren are working together on it, don't worry. We'll get her. We won't give up" I said, looking up at the brunette who seemed to be a bit taken aback by my resolution.
Hanji smiled and patted my head.
"That's my girl" she said it like a sister and I smiled, comforted.
"Oh, and about your love letter"
Oh, shit.
"Nothing happened!" I immediately defended upon instinct, and I knew that that took one step to being suspicious.
