"So Killian is..." I waited for Henry to finish my sentence for me.
"He's Captain Hook." Henry confirmed.
"That's what I thought." I nodded. It sounded crazy saying it out loud. I had presumed that mr biological father was Captain Hook, and that wasn't considered weird in the slightest.
Henry got some homework out of his bag to do before dinner.
"Do you need any help? I'm like English." I asked Henry.
"That's a good job Mr Fritz gave me some extra work to give to you." Henry smiled sarcastically. He must have picked up his sarcastic streak from his Mothers.
I took the homework and borrowed a blue biro from Henry's pencil case. It was a one-sided sheet that had grammar correction questions. It wasn't hard.
"Henry, could you set the table?" Regina asked about half an hour later. She was just taking the tray of lasagne out of the oven to serve. It smelled absolutely delicious, and I was sure it would taste as good as it smelled. Regina strikes me as a woman who wouldn't do something unless she had or knew she could perfect it.
Smelling the food, Zelena walked into the room. A little boy with curly brown hair was holding her hand. I hadn't realised she was in the house. If I had, I probably would have gone to discuss the Robin thing.
"Hello." The little boy said to me. "I'm Roland."
"I'm Phoebe." I smiled. He was adorable. He then walked over and gave me a high five.
"Lasagne." Zelena exclaimed. This family loved pasta as much as I did.
I put a forkful of lasagne into my mouth and it tasted amazing. It was full of flavour and had a hint of spice. It was boiling hot, so I probably burnt my tongue, but I didn't care. I had a late breakfast and my magic lessons distracted me from eating anything else. I hadn't realised I was so hungry until my plate was the first to be empty.
"So you either liked or wanted to eat it as fast as possible to get rid of it?" Regina smiled
"Definitely the first option." I answered. "It was delicious, thank you."
"You are welcome." Regina's smile was so beautiful. "Hey, we're family now. You can eat my lasagne whenever you want."
I smiled back, only my smile wasn't as nice is Regina's. My lips were thinner than hers were and a couple of my bottom teeth were a little crooked. Growing up in the foster system, I was never offered braces. My teeth weren't particularly bad or noticeable, so I didn't mind too much.
After everyone has finished eating Regina collected the plates and carried them to the sink. She asked Henry to help her clean up. I don't think she felt close enough with me to ask for my help, which worked well for me. I've never liked washing up.
"How's your witch training going?" Zelena asked. We were the only ones still sat at the table at this point.
"It's going good, I think. I'm just waiting for my Hogwarts scholarship now." I answered.
"You know, I'm better at magic than Regina is." Zelena told me, but said it loudly so that Regina would hear, too.
"That's a lie." Regina called from the kitchen area.
