Random Stuff

This egg is rocked in layers of ferns and leaves, among the shores of the sea near the edge of the rainforest. The rain sizzles upon your scales, whom the egg resists it, as it sizzles instead.

Jaguar and Kiwi dashed through the treetops, playing hide and tag while trying to avoid families of monkeys resting in the branches. It was Jaguar's turn to catch his sister. After he finished counting, he swerved through the tightly woven webs of vines, heading for his sisters favourite hiding spot, the hollow Redwood.
He dove through a loop of ivy, and found himself on the skirts of the rainforest. He took in a deep breath of the salty sea air and smiled. He loved it here. And the Redwood was very close to where he was.
He made his way to dash of to the hollow tree, but stopped. He saw something on the rocking shore, just a tail length from the tree line, a small, leafy structure, green in a field of grey and pale yellow.
Jaguar slowly flew over to it, his long tail brushing the ground. He felt a drop of water splash his snout. He looked up and saw grey clouds in the sky.
His scales clicked against the smooth beach stones. He circled the little structure and saw something strange.
An egg.
It was small, as big as a very large mango, and mostly the same colour. Something moved beneath its surface, close to hatching probably. But who would leave an egg soon to hatch alone on the beach?
His thoughts were interrupted by a blue and purple shape drop out of the tree branch above him. "Boo!" It yelled.
Jaguar stumbled backwards, tripping on his tail. As he tried to get up, his sister was giggling so loud the Skywings in the mountains could have heard her.
"Kiwi! I told you not to do that anymore!"
Kiwi shrugged and gripped a vine. She looked at the little best with curiosity. "What's that?" She asked. Jaguar gently picked up the egg, showing it to her. Kiwi's eyes widened. "An egg?" She said shocked. "What dragon in their right mind would leave their egg out here?"
Jaguar lifted his yellow wing and shielded himself and the egg from the rain. "I don't know." He said. "But we should probably get it back to the village so it doesn't freeze to death."
