3rd person POV

Maya fell from the bridge getting closer to the water with each second that passed. Her impending doom was seconds away. The boat moved faster and closer to the falling figure. He stopped the motor causing the boat to cease movement. He moved under the shadow, holding his arms out. She fell into his arms, he looked at her, "You're safe now."

Maya's POV

I woke up in a room. One similar to my own, bare and simple. Why was I alive? The fall from the bridge should taken my life. A guy walked in the room. "You're awake. That's good." Who was he? "Were you the one who saved my life?" I asked him bluntly. "Yeah," He said rubbing the back of his neck. I stared at him. When he continued to do nothing, I spoke again, "So, what's your name?" I asked him. He looked startled, "My name? Sorry!" I laughed at him. "Okay, let me try this again. My name is Noah." I tried to smile, yeah that wasn't working out. "I'm Maya." I said hoping that this conversation wouldn't last much longer. "Can I ask you how you fell off the bridge and why you were up there in the first place?" He said looking at me. "No." I said monotonously. He sighed and started walking away. "Wait! What happened? Why am I here? And where the heck am I?" I asked him. He smirked at me, "You'll get your answers, when I get mine." He's good.

Noah's POV

Maya was not what I expected. But I think this version is much better than what I expected. I looked back at her waiting for her to begin her story. By the end of her story I felt bad about making her work for the answers to her questions. Her life was so complicated, from having two stalkers to getting into a fight with her best friend to having a confrontation with one of her stalkers causing her to fall off the bridge. I couldn't imagine how life must have been for her. "So?" She said. "So what?" I was confused. "My answers idiot. Are you going to give them to me or what?" I smiled I was beginning to like her more than I would've wanted. Then I began telling her what happened.

Flashback

"Noah can you take my boat out for test drive? Or whatever you'd call it for a boat." My friend Eric asked.

"No, I-"

"So you'll do it?" He said interrupting me.

"No." The line was cut. Now I have to take his boat out.

I headed to Eric's house to get the boat. When I walked in the sight I saw was not pretty. Eric had like 10 sandwiches stuffed into his mouth, trying to fit in the 11th. I just took the boat and left. I was just going to take it out for an hour before it back to Eric. I was near the River Bridge when I saw fall from it. I sped the boat up, as I got closer I saw it was a girl. I positioned myself and the boat what looked like was directly under the girl. I moved forward a little and held my arms out waiting for her to fall into my arms. When she got closer to me I saw it was just a girl falling, but a bag and luggage too. She landed in my arms, she looked okay. "You're safe now." I said. I looked at her again. She wasn't awake, she must've passed out when she fell or something like that. I hurried over to Eric's house.

"What happened?" He asked looking at the girl in my arms. "She fell and I caught her." I shortly explained. Eric nodded, "I get it," Thank goodness. "She saw your hideous face and passed out. It was then you knew that she would never like you back, so you kidnapped her, hoping that she'd get Stockholm Syndrome and fall in love with you." He said. I just looked him blankly. "I'm sorry to break it to you man life doesn't always work like that and she'd obviously take one look at me and fall in love." He continued. Why did I even come here? It hit me, "Eric I need you to call your aunt over. She's a nurse right?" I said panicked, the girl wasn't waking up.

His aunt came over soon and brought the girl to her house. I was relieved to hear the girl was fine and she just needed to rest.

End of flashback.

"That was 4 days ago." I told Maya. She freaked out, "Four days! FOUR DAYS! OH MY GOSH!" I really didn't see what was wrong with that. She took a deep breath before talking again. "Where are my stuff?" She asked looking around the room. "They're downstairs." I say before going to get them. I bring them upstairs, her stuff is thankfully light, I mean if they were heavy I could totally take them. I put them next to her bed. "Where's my phone?" She asked looking through her stuff. "I- I don't know." I told her honestly. She sighs, "That's fine."

Maya's POV

As Noah leaves the room I call him back. "Is anyone looking for me?" I ask hopefully. He shakes his head. "Not that I've heard of." I look down, no one cares enough to look for me. "Don't be sad. I'm not saying you shouldn't be sad- you should. I mean- You know what never mind. Do you want to play a game?" I had no words for this guy. I just nodded my head to answer his question. After half an hour we finally came to an agreement for a game (actually I forced him to play the game against his will, but you know, same thing!). Five minutes into the game, I understood why he was so against playing Go Fish. Noah was the only person I knew who was actually bad at Go Fish. Honestly, how can someone be bad at Go Fish? "Hey stop judging me!" He said childishly throwing his popcorn at me. I smiled before throwing some at him. I didn't want to admit, but I was warming up to him.

A/N: *squeals* Lol, I'm sorry but I just love Noah and his friend! Only five more chapters until the big reveal! I feel so happy! That could be because of all the candy I ate, but whatever!

Tell me whose POV you want to see next.
