Eric's Pov
"YOU LET FARKLE ESCAPE!!" She screamed. She shouldn't scream, it's really bad for her, it makes her sound like an ugly banshee. "Um. No. You did." I said. "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!" She screamed. "You see," I said holding up a key, "This is my key. Your key is missing. There was no sign of forced entry or whatever on the door. Meaning he had to have used a key to get out. I have my key so that means he used your key to escape. Meaning this is your fault and not mine." I said calmly, she wasn't going to win this. "YOU SHOULD HAVE WATCHED HIM BETTER!!!" If she kept screaming I'd become deaf. "You're the one who said that he was a loser that wouldn't be able to get out and that we didn't need to watch him." I said. "... UGHHHHH!" She screamed. "Now excuse me I have to go check with my dead goldfish about our date plans." I said leaving the room. "WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING?!" She doesn't understand anything does she? "I don't help you anymore." I said. "Don't think I won't hold up my threat. I will hurt you and your family." She said through clenched teeth. "You can do that if you want this to go to the police." I said showing her the recording of her threat. "UGHHHHH!" I walked out. "Bye Crazy!" I was finally free.
When I got home Noah, Maya, and Katrina were answering riddles. I decided to ignore them and watch tv. Great! A commercial, I might as well listen to them. "Three playing cards in a row. Can you name them with these clues? There is a two to the right of a king. A diamond will be found to the left of a spade. An ace is to the left of a heart. A heart is to the left of a spade. Now, identify all three cards." Katrina read from her phone. "Ace of Diamonds, King of Hearts, Two of Spades." I said without thinking. "How'd you know?!" Katrina said. Shoot! I forgot to go back to being dumb. "I was right?! Wow, I just guessed. You guys can call me the Supreme Guesser now." I covered. "Ew. No." Katrina said before moving onto the next riddle. If they found out I'd be screwed. I sighed and waited for the show to come back on.
Secret's Pov
Could I really have been that careless? I lost two things that were helping out my plan. But it didn't matter anymore, Maya was dead. But why did I feel like my revenge had not ended yet. I needed to figure this out before I got screwed over.
Riley's
Lucas agreed to help me find the mystery girl."What about her?" I asked showing him a picture of one of the girls. He shook his head. We still had a lot of people to go through so it was fine. We took a break after looking at 10 more people. "Do you think we'll her?" I asked Lucas. I wasn't feeling too good about this. "With you here, of course we will!" Lucas was so sweet. I was so thankful that I managed to get him. I don't think I would've ever found someone else like him. Maybe that's just because he and I are meant to be. I know I shouldn't be like this but my hopes were high. We'd survive as couple. And nothing would tear us apart. We were meant to be and we would be. That I just knew.
The nineteenth girl, Lucas recognized. "So is this her?" I asked. He looked at it again, closely. "No... this was just some girl that was taking shots in the kitchen." He said disappointed. "Lucas did you forget that we have like 30 more people to look at." I said. He rubbed his neck, "... Yeah."
Lucy's Pov
I've been ignoring Max ever since he made me help him clean the house after his party. Sometimes I wished that he could be more responsible with his messes. It wasn't fair that I had to help him when he never helped me. I walked into the kitchen for a snack. And out of all places he had to be there. He just got off the phone when he noticed me. "Are you throwing another party already?!" I asked annoyed. "Actually no. I was helping Lucas and Riley with a problem they had. Oh. He actually cared about people other than himself. I left the kitchen, Max had reminded me of the girl I saw at his party. It wasn't Riley, or at least I think. I haven't seen her in a while. Maybe she changed. I checked her social media accounts, her most recent picture was from 5 days ago. I thought about the girl I saw, she didn't look like that. It was possible that she changed her look after the party. I scrolled further down her page. The girl definitely wasn't Riley. I accidentally click on another page. I found the mystery girl.
A/N: This is like the first time in a while that I didn't update a chapter at an odd hour in the morning. Hope you enjoyed!
