Sophie's pov
Right now I am walking into my high school and heading towards my locker, which is right next to Jacob's. As I approach my locker I see Jacob and another girl with fire red hair making out. But, not like normal kissing making out, but like actually eating each other's faces. My head was just shattered into a million pieces on the floor. Oh, wait that wasn't just my heart but my body too. I have a certain medical condition where when my blood pressure rises just a little bit, I am at risk of passing out. I mean, I can hear and think, I just can't see or move. Mark, who's locker is two away from mine sees me go down. I feel him pick me up and run to the nurse's office with my body. I know a lot of you are thinking, "Wait, how could you tell it was Mark?" I've known him for so many years that him voice is easily recognizable. I just can't believe Jacob would do this to me. Happy I rejected him yesterday he probably would have cheated on me anyways. Then, I hear the nurse call 911 and the paramedics haul me away. Then I just black out completely.

I have finally woken up. There is this sharp, shooting pain in my arm. I look down and there is and IV. Happy I was unconscious for that, I've always been afraid of needles. Then a nurse with jet black, wavy hair walks in the room. She seems very nice and starts asking me questions to make sure I didn't have amnesia since she didn't really know what happened.
"Sweetie, what's your name, age, and can you tell me the last thing you remember?" she asked me.
" My name is Sophie Walker, I'm 13 years old, and the last thing I remember is that my friend who asked me out last night was making out with another girl, I passed out, and my best friend carried me to the nurse's office." I replied getting angry because I had reminded myself of Jacob and that girl."
"Well, it sounds like you had a very exciting day," the nurse replied as she checked my vitals and realized that my blood pressure was slowly rising again. "Sophie, would you like a glass of water to cool yourself down?" she asked me.
"Yeah, that would be great, thank you. What should I call you Ms.?" I asked her.
"You can call me Ms. Gina, I be right back with a bottle of water," she says. I just nod as a thank you. A couple minutes later she returns with a bottle of water and someone trailing behind her. Who could it be?
"Sophie, a young man by the name of Jacob is here to visit," she says to me and my brain immediately goes into overload.
"No! No! No! Do not let him in he was the one that was making out with that other girl," I screamed and Ms. Gina. She says something to Jacob and he backs away from the door as the nurse closes it.
"Listen, Sophie, I know I'm supposed to comply with whatever the patient says for trauma and insurance purposes but I really think you should listen to him. Just let him talk. He might have something to put your mind at ease," she says in a convincing tone. I just nod my head as a sigh to let him in. The nurse leaves and Jacob comes in and sits on the bed across from me, being careful to keep his distance.
"Hey Sophie, I'm really sorry about what happened earlier today. I didn't know that you felt the same way about me. When you turned me down last night I thought you didn't like me the same way I liked you. Vanessa (had to use a local stripper name, just had to) was my redeeming woman. I don't love her though. I just needed someone to love me when I was missing it," he said blushing and crying a little bit. That last part really hit my heart. Then I just leaned in and kissed him. I felt fireworks between us. Stronger then ever. Then Nurse Gina walks in on us kissing and says, "Well look at this here. Looks like I was right," as I pull away and smile at Jacob. "You can leave anytime you want sweetie," Nurse Gina continues. So she carefully takes out my IV and bandages my arm. Then she gives me a hug and signs me out of the hospital.

Jacob and I then walk down the street and head to my house. Mark, Bryce, Maya, and Alecia are in my house watching Netflix. They all run up to greet me. Then I go to take a shower. When I come out of my bathroom, I see Jacob sitting on my bed, he has a black eye. I run up to him as fast as I can while trying to keep my shower towel on and sit down next to him. He keeps his face down so I can't see how bad the damage is. So, I gently put my finger at the bottom of his jawline and push his head up until his eyes meet mine. "Who did this?" I ask him with an angry expression. "Mark did. He was pissed at me because I hurt you," he replied. "Where is Mark?" I continued
