Miru, what humanity has dubbed this world, is a thriving planet with several civilized races. The Lupuos are a tribal civilization of wolf like beings who live in the northern coniferous forests. They isolated themselves from the rest of the world after the Dragon War many centuries ago and little news from them is ever received outside of the limited trade between them and their southern neighbors, the Lithes.

Lithes are Jaguar like anthropomorphic beings living in the jungle and dense forest along the coast of the Spotted Sea. Highly mercantile, this race has the largest port cities and fastest ships, they can be found across the known world sporting all kinds of exotic goods.

The Aderyn are a people shrouded in mystery, having went into hiding after the dragon war, what information on them that once may have been common knowledge has been lost to time. Spoken of as a race able soar the skies and walk the land, their very existence has fallen into question after centuries of absence.

The elves who live here are very similar to any story I've read before. They live to the east of the Lithes in the forests between the sea and the plains. Most do not often leave their territory, however they still have strong trade with the Lithes and sometimes... shaky, trade with humans to their south.

The humans who live here are far less advanced technologically than we are today, having moved to this world through the portals several centuries ago when this world was still recovering from the conflagration. They came to inhabit the mountains and hills to the Southeast of the sea, directly south of the Elves' woods. Ever the kind to explore and expand, the humans have populated all the surrounding area, even going as far to live in the desert, they were the primary creators of the current desert kingdom of Asodun. However, this tendency has pushed the humans right to their border with the elves, even pushed the border back several times. Thus is one of the reasons for rumors of war. Though the humans have always been outmatched by the elves, both physically and magically, there has been a growing sense of unrest among the elves as the humans have begun to exhibit a new air of confidence, even superiority, in their dealings with their neighbors.
