Being a lusus naturae has never helped Emily in life. Neither has the word, which she can barely say, let alone understand. She's always been the outcast. Her parents were ashamed of her, they'd locked her up most of her life.
That's how she knows meeting Charles Xavier is easily the best thing that has ever happened to her. He simply plucked her out of her horrid life and showed her the world, quite literally.
She'd never expected to be blessed with the presence of someone like him, or the love. Yet, she was. And she's nothing but grateful.
