How I became Savannah Solo Part 3

I woke up late at 7:20. I rushed around to let Duke in and out and get ready. I put on my Nike leggings and my hoodie. I did my makeup and put my hair in a bun. I put Duke in his kennel and rushed out the door. I walked into the training room right as the bell rang.

Kirk: Cutting it close Solo
Me: I know I woke up late sorry.

I sat next to Brad and copied his math and English home work. The class ended and we went to Coach Barron's class. We passed coach Barron on the way in.

Barron: do you own anything other than Nike?
Me: honestly other than my copas I wear for your team I don't think so. its why I'm sponsored
Barron: geez. Well after announcements will you run to my car and bring the bag of jerseys to Kirk for me
Me: yeah I will.

The announcement came on shortly after we sat down.

Mr. Lane: Good morning student and teacher. I have a couple house keeping things to address this morning. A reminder to students that the parking lot from the 5th wing to the stem building is for teachers only. The 2nd thing is phones. Put them up or they will be taken for 15- 30 days. Now to Mr. Ainsworth for sport news.

Mr. A: Good morning students. It was a great night for our Rebel sport teams last night. Our Lady Rebel basketball team beat Oakland 52-40 with Jasmine Williams leading the points of 14. The boys Rebel soccer team beat Darkwood 2-1 with goals from Carson Ramirez and Jacob Park.

Mr. A: The lady Rebel soccer team beat Darkwood 5-0 with 3 goals from Savannah Solo, 1 from sophomore Anna Gresham and 1 from junior Megan Pratt. That is all for today have a good day.

After announcements I went to Barron's car and gave the jerseys to Kirk. The rest of my classes were boring and I ran home to let Duke out and grab my cheer bag. Cheer practice was short and I went home and took Duke for his 3 mile run. Lydia made dinner for me and my mom. After I ate I went to my room to check social media and emails. I had notification from Alex, Hope, and Kelley.

I then went to emails. I had one from Nike, Beats, the bank, colleges, and Jill Ellis. I opened the one from Jill first.

As you know we have called you up to the full team. That being said I will be sending you your contract in the mail for you to read and sign and bring with you to the game in December. If you have any questions just let me know.     – Jill Ellis

I opened the next one from Nike.

To Savannah Solo,
We have a new line coming out in January and we want you and Alex Morgan to feature it. Do you have a time that we could do a photoshoot with the both of you?  -Mike Keratin

I decided I would call Alex and then email him back. I opened the one from Beats and then Apple.

I am so excited to be typing this email. You are and extraordinary athlete with and amazing talent that is so fun to watch. You have a great attitude, work ethic, and a strong passion for soccer. We are aware of you being a cheerleader as well and if you decide to purse both we would love to find a compromise if you decide to commit to Stanford. I know you are getting a slew of college offers and I hope you really consider Stanford. I excited about having you as a potential student athlete. I have talked with the head coach of cheer and we are willing to work things out if you decide to commit to UNC. I finished the email and moved them to the college folder. I then went to bed.
