Tyler's pov:

when we get to Josh's house we try to be quiet because his mom is already asleep.

we go to his room, I set my bag down and take off my jacket.

"wait come here birthday boy" he says sitting by the window holding his hand out.

I follow him, we climb to the roof.

on the roof of Josh's house it's surprisingly flat and there's a lot of space.

it looks like all the snow has been shoveled.

Josh leads me to a tent with fairy lights, some blankets and pillows and a window to see the sky.

"come lay and look at the stars" he says laying down in the tent.

"Joshua-"

"shh just lay down and look at the stars, they are shining especially bright today because it's the day a very important boy was born" he says sitting up a little.

I feel myself blushing.

"happy birthday Tyler Robert Joseph" Josh says leaning in.

we're centimeters apart.

"you have the most beautiful eyes Joshua"

"you are the most beautiful boy" he says

he then connects our lips.

I kiss back and we kiss in sync, the kiss feels warm even though it's cold outside.

our kiss starts to get a little heated.

without breaking the kiss we lay down with me on tøp.

(a/n : tøp hahaha get it? I like to think i'm funny hahaha)

I move my hands to the buttons on his shirt.

I start unbuttoning his shirt when I feel something cold fall on my neck, and then another on the top of my head.

it's snowing.

Josh and I pull away out of breath.

"I think the snow felt that the tent was getting a little too hot" he laughs.

"you're a dork" I play push him

I get off and we go inside.

we change out of our suits and into pajamas because it's cold.

we cuddle into Josh's bed.

"good night Tyler" he says snuggling into me half asleep.

"goodnight Joshua" I say putting my arms around him.

"happy bir-" he starts to say but falls asleep mid sentence.

The next morning I wake up in Josh's room but no Josh.

there's a card in his place.

"wake up sleepy birthday boy, meet me downstairs for breakfast"

I walk downstairs and there's a big fancy breakfast on the table, Josh and his mom start singing happy birthday to me as I walk to the table.

"happy birthday Tyler, I hope you enjoy our special birthday breakfast, my mom always makes breakfast like this for my birthday and we thought it'd be cool to make for you too" Josh says smiling.

"I love it thank you."

after breakfast we get dressed and head out to town.

we go to the store and buy hot chocolate and stuff to make Christmas cookies.

we go back to Josh's house and watch how the grinch stole Christmas, while we make cookies.

"are we going to watch elf and eat the cookies and drink hot chocolate?" I ask

"yes, just after we come back, put on a jacket, we're going ice skating!" he says super excited.

we get to the ice skating rink.

"josh, we suck at skating why did ice skating sound like a good idea?" I ask concerned for the potential bruises my butt is about to receive .

he just winks at me.

I'm at a loss for words when I see Josh is great at ice skating.

me? I'm not so great.

but Josh being great and me trying to not to fall gives me a good excuse to latch on to Josh's bicep.

after we get tired from ice skating we go sit by the fire pits.

"hey if you look closely at the rocks around the fire pits they make a message" Josh says

I begin to walk around the pit reading the rocks spelling out BOYFRIEND?

I-

"Tyler?"

"y-yes?"

"do you want to be my boyfriend?"  he asks

"I thought you'd never ask" I say kissing him.

"now let's go watch elf and cuddle" I say after we pull apart.

we go back to Josh's house, I mean my boyfriend's house

that feels good to say

my boyfriend.

we go back to Josh's house to watch elf, of course Josh falls asleep mid movie.

but I don't mind because he's a cute sleeper.

my birthday has been amazing.

Josh is my boyfriend.

I love Josh.
