its saturday afternoon, josh and his mom dropped me off this morning but im already bored without him.

alex 🇬🇧 : duuuuude

me : whaaaaT

alex 🇬🇧 : did you know our boyfriends have the same birthdays

i just realized i don't even know josh's birthday.

me : i feel like such a dipcrap rn i don't even know my own boyfriend's birthday

alex 🇬🇧 : haha don't, i probably wouldn't have known jack's if i wasn't his best friend for 4 years prior of dating

me : so when is their birthday? please tell me it's not today

alex 🇬🇧: no lol it's in june, but i was wondering if because they're the same day maybe we could all do something together?

me : yeah like a surprise party or something?!

alex 🇬🇧 : yeah! would it be lame to sing a song i wrote to jack

me : no i wrote a song for josh too! haha

well multiple pieces of songs but it'll be a song eventually, also june is still a couple months away

alex 🇬🇧 : haha rad, well i have to go wait for jack to pick me up we can go to the movies, i'll talk to ya later

i get an idea.

me : hey are you busy?

me: wait let me rephrase that, are you awake?

josh is always sleeping, but that's okay because he's a cute sleeper

joshua <3 : i am now.

me : ok, good i'm picking you up in an hour, get ready

joshua <3 : wait where are we going?

me : it's a surprise, just get ready

joshua <3 : okay.

i asked jenna to help me set up our date.

i wanted to do a picnic at the park but that's not really a good idea considering it's january and there's still snow on the ground.

i make sure my parents aren't going to be home because they still don't know i'm dating josh, they know i like him but they don't actually know we're official.

i decided since my backyard has a little patio to set a table up with candles and food.

i also ask jenna to help me set up fairy lights and make my backyard look a little cuter.

jenna also picked out the music because she said destroya by mcr isn't very romantic.

after we set everything up i thank jenna for helping, i go change into something nice but not too fancy.

me : i'm on my way to pick you up

joshua <3 : okay i'll wait outside
