07 ; "Fucking finally!"
ELLA AND DINGER HAD their hands intertwined as they called towards hell (a.k.a school), the two hadn't told their friends about them finally being together, so when Bobby and Laine saw them holding hands—it was quite a surprise.
Walking up to the school in search for their friends, the couple sat down on a picnic table that sat in front of the school. Ella looked towards Dinger with a small smile on her face and kissed his cheek, "What do you think they're going to say?"
"Probably something about us taking forever to get together." Dinger stated chuckling, he brought Ella's knuckles up to his lips and softly pecked them, "I mean, we did take a pretty long time."
"Are you the one to blame for that?" Ella teased leaning her head on her boyfriend's shoulder, it made her giddy knowing that Dinger was now her boyfriend.
Dinger scoffed and playfully rolled her eyes before looking towards Ella whilst raising an eyebrow, "Really? I think we're both to blame for it."
A giggled escaped the brunette lips as she leaned her head on Dinger's shoulder. A bunch of their peers were already staring at them, noticing that the couple were more touchy than usual.
Everyone at the school were use to the best friends being a bit romantic with each other, but they've never seen them hold hands or seen Ella practically sitting in Dinger's lap.
Bobby and Laine walked up to the two with a shocked and excited expressions, they shared a glance then looked back at their friends, "Fucking finally!"

Word spread around the school fast about Dinger and Ella being together officially. By the end of the day everyone, even the teachers, knew about the new couple. All eyes were on the two as they exited the high school, hearing their peers whisper as they walked by.
"You'd think everyone wouldn't be surprised to see us together." Ella stated as she walked hand-in-hand with the auburn haired teenager, Dinger nodded his head in agreement.
"I guess we're the talk of the school, princess." He said, beginning to swing their hands back and forth in a playful manner as he spoke causing a small smile to be etched on the brunette's face.
Unknown to the two, a ridiculous rumor had been spread around the school by Dumas. He told all of the students that Ella had slept with him before her and Dinger had gotten together—referring to the night in the alleyway.
"Ella, Dinger!" Bobby ran up from behind the two as she reached the sidewalk, Laine not far behind her boyfriend, both out of breath as they caught up to the couple, "Did you guys hear about the rumor?"
They shared confused as they turned around answering the dark haired males question, they spoke in unison, "What rumor?"
"Uh, well, you see.." Bobby trailed off and looked toward his girlfriend, the brunette continued for him speaking quickly as she locked eyes with her best friend, "Dumas spread a rumor that he slept with you before you and Dinger got together."
Shock spread over Ella's face, surprised with the words that just came out of her friend's mouth. She knew Dumas was the king of spreading lies are the high school, she never expected for one to be about her—especially about her sleeping with him. She dropped her hand from her boyfriend's, wrapping her arms around herself for comfort.
The small teen did not speak, she just looked up toward Dinger seeing anger written all over his face. His eyes darkened quickly and his face turned a dull shade of red, he clenched his fists, "Did he say where?"
"What?" Bobby asked the male furrowing his eyebrows together, he earned an annoyed look from Dinger, "I-I think in an alleyway or something. I don't know, I heard some of the dumbass' friends talking about it in gym."
The red on Dinger's face brightened, the tips of his ears turning pink. Ella watched her boyfriend clench his jaw, knowing Dumas had broke his last nerve with his stupid antics. The redhead looked toward the brunette who was fumbling with her hands at the mention of the alleyway.
"I'm gonna kill him." Dinger spat with hatred lacing his voice, he looked around the teenagers who left the school trying to find the dirty blond douchebag.
"Dinger, he's not worth it." Ella spoke quietly, putting a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"He's lying about what happened that night, Ella. Beating his ass is worth it." The male spoke with anger, face getting redder by the thought of what happened the other week.
Bobby and Laine shared concerned looks, not knowing about what the two were talking about, but not bugging them about the situation either, "Dinger, I don't think messing with Dumas is a good idea. You don't want to have another broken bone."
"I don't give a fuck if he breaks one of my bones. I'm gonna break his face." Dinger stated, he spotted Dumas walking toward them, a smirk apparent on his face as he got closer to the group.
"Well, well, well," Dumas started as he walked up to the four teenagers, eyes darting toward Ella , "did you guys hear about your whore of a—"
Within seconds Dinger lunged at the taller male, striking his fist against the liar's face. A loud crack was heard as his hand came in contact with the blond's jaw. Dumas fell to the ground, Dinger bending down to hit him a few more times—in the eye, the cheek, and the mouth. Each time his fist hit his face their was a groan heard from the male on the ground.
"Dinger, c'mon man, he's had enough." Bobby pulled the redhead off of Dumas, who was bloody and bruised, the dark haired male believe that Dumas the dumbass had finally learned his lesson to not mess with Ella Murray.
"If you ever talk about her again and say that you did anything with her, there won't be anyone stopping me next time." Dinger spit on the ground next to Dumas' head in a way to get his point across, watching the broken blond slowly nod and groan in pain as an answer.
"Let's go before the teachers come." Laine suggested after looking around at the students staring from behind them.
Ella grabbed Dingers shaking hand, pulling him away from the scene. She ran her thumb over his bruised knuckles as they began to walk away, pulling his hand up to her mouth for a soft kiss, "You didn't have to do that, Dinger."
He shrugged his shoulders, beginning to calm down from his adrenaline rush, kissing her hand like she did to him, "I did what I had to do for my princess."
Ella's face turned a soft shade of pink, the apples of her cheeks puffing up as she gave him a small smile. She looked back to her friend who were quietly talking behind them about the fight they had just witnessed. But, despite the unnerving situation that went down, she would not want anyone else to be her knight in shining armor.
