I Thought I Loved You But I Didn't

Chapter 4

"Not right now. Maybe when we come on our next hang out." Raven said.

"You wish to do the bonding again?" Starfire asked, her eyes sparkling with hope.

"Yeah, I guess. It isn't that bad." Raven shrugged.

"Oh joy!" Starfire said giving Raven a bone crushing hug.

"Yeah, yeah. Let go now." Raven pleaded."Why don't we go to the ice cream shop?"she suggested.

"That is a wonderful idea Raven. Let us go." Starfire agreed then they left. Once they got into the ice cream shop, they saw Beastboy and Terra ordering. Beastboy turned around and spotted them.

"Hey guys. Over here." Beastboy said waving his arm gesturing for them to come over. They made their way behind them in the line.

"Hey, Gar. How was your movie." Raven asked.

"It was amazing. It had lots of action and violence. The ending was even better. It turned out that the bad guy and the good guy had swopped faces and they were chasing the wrong guy the whole time. It was awesome." Beastboy explained.

"As long as you have all enjoyed your film." Starfire smiled.

"BB, it's our turn." Terra waved.

Behind the counter was a guy with glasses with pimples all over his face. He wore brown khaki pants, a white golf  T-shirt, black converse and he had orange curly hair. He looked forward and saw Beastboy, Raven, Starfire and Terra. But what caught his eye was Raven.

"What can I get you." He asked with dreamy eyes and a droopy smile across his face.

"Can I pleas have -" Terra began.

"Not you!," the waiter shouted,"Her."he said pointing to Raven.

"Me?" Raven said pointing to herself in disbelief.

"Yes you. You must be the most beautiful girl I have ever placed my hazel eyes on." He said putting his chin on his hands still staring dreamily at her.

"Uh...thanks?" Raven said in more of a question tone than a statement.

"Um, excuse me," Terra looked at his name tag,"Benny, I was still ordering. He waved her off and gave her a death stare that made her back off.

"I'm coming back guys. I've gotta use the bathroom." Terra told them. He turned his attention back to Raven then grabbed her hand.

"Your hand are softer than they look." He said rubbing circles on the top of her hand with his thumb.

"Uh, me and you, I don't think so." She said yanking her hand away from his.

"Give me on good reason why." He asked.

"We just met and we barely know each other." She listed.

"We could always go on a date and get to know each other." He pointed out.

"I already have a boyfriend." She said quickly regretting her words.

"And where might he be?" Benny asked.

"His...his..," Raven looked around and her eyes fell on Beastboy, "... His right here." Raven said linking arms with Beastboy.

"Oh really. Why don't we get a kiss out of you both." Benny said in disbelief. "We don't show our affection in public." Raven said to him.

"One kiss come on do it or else I won't believe you then you'll have to go on a date with me tonight." Benny said.

Raven and Beastboy looked at each other with wide eyes. She silently pleaded him to help her out. Raven gulped and looked down then back into his emerald eye. Ones that made her feel safe.

Beastboy was fidgeting and was nervous. He looked at down and back into her amethyst eye that seemed to invite him.

"It's just one kiss right? It won't mean a thing." She whispered to him.

"It won't mean a thing." He repeated.

They leaned forward, their eyes falling closed. Their lips were an inch away from touching when...

Beep beep.

Their communicators rang. They sighed in relief and opened it to see Robin. They had never been so happy to see Robin in their lives.

"Robin to Titans. Theirs trouble down town. Get there quickly. Robin out." Then the screen went black.

"Wait, you guys are the Titans. You guys are my biggest fans." Benny gushed.

"Well we've gotta go. Crime never rests." Raven said as Terra came out the bathroom. They all rushes out the store and Raven teleported down town. Once they got there, they saw Robin throwing bird a range at Cinderblock while Cyborg was next to him blasting him with his sonic cannon.

"Robin! Watch out." Cyborg shouted as Cinderblock threw a boulder at Robin, which caused him to crash into a building. He fell to the ground unconscious.

"Robin!" Starfire screamed. Her eyes turned green and her hands held green balls of energy. They weren't her normal energy bolts. They were the darkest green anyone has ever seen and they had electricity surrounding it.

She gave a battle cry and charged at Cinderblock. He tried to punched but she dodged it easily. She shot his arm with her ultra starbolt and it detached his arm.

He shouted angrily and tried to punch her. She caught his balled fist with her ultra starbolt still in hand and it broke his arm into pieces.

She then flew up up very high so she had a top view of his head. She then spun in mid air and spun making a whole through his head. She then stopped, picked him up and give him a throw to jail were he landed in a cell.

All the other Titans could do was watch in awe with their mouths hanging open. Starfire's eyes returned to their usual!stated and she flew over to Robin's body with a worried expression on her face.

"Robin. Robin. Are you unharmed." Starfire asked. His eyes fluttered open and his mask met her emerald eyes.

"S - Starfire." He stuttered.

"Robin!" She screamed then pulled him into a gentle hug. Tears flowed down her cheeks and she tightened her grip. He put his arms around her back as she sobbed.

"Shush. Let it all out." He said patting her back.

She pulled away from their embrace and looked into his eyes. Well his mask. She then leaned in and kissed him. He returned it and they shared a passionate kiss. As they pulled away they looked at each other then embraced again.

"I love you Robin." Starfire as she put his forehead against his.

"I love you too, Starfire." He said.

They whole group went back home and had a good nights rest.
