I Thought I Loved You But I Didn't

Beastboy woke slightly happy today. He didn't know why but he just did. He realized that Raven hadn't woken up to watch the sun rise. So he walked up to the roof and saw no one there. So he just sat there and watched alone.

Meanwhile

"Raven, put the streamer over there." Robin ordered.

Today was Beastboy's birthday and everyone was setting up for his surprise party. Cyborg was making the cake, Starfire was blowing up the balloons, Raven was putting up the decorations while Robin was sorting the presents. Terra was still asleep but the others either didn't notice or they just didn't care.

"Decorations done. Balloons done. Cake done. Presents sorted." Robin announced.

"Since this is all done, I've got to go to Gar and sit with him on the roof." Raven told them. They nodded and she left to the roof and saw Beastboy sitting on the edge.

"Hey buddie. Sorry I'm late. I was....busy." She said. He nodded and she sat next to him. He put his arm arm around her waist and she draped her arm across his shoulders. And put her head on his chest.

They sat in silence for a while until Beastboy broke the silence,"I don't think I can stay with Terra forever."he said suddenly.

"What do you mean?" Raven said lofting her head off his chest and looking in his eyes. "I mean I don't think I want to date her anymore. She is rude and she is very bitchy." He vented.

"Do you think it is the right thing to do." Raven asked with a worried expression on her face.

"I feel like it is. I don't think I love her anymore." He said.

"I've got your back the whole way." Raven said. Beastboy put his arms on her hips as they stood and her arms around his neck. Their noses touched and they looked into their eye. Emerald and Amethyst mixing in perfect harmony.

"As much as I love standing here, we need to get ready." She said removing her arms around his neck moving away from their position but Beastboy refused. He put his hands back on her hips and pushed back to him.

"Get ready for what?" He whined.

"For an awesome day ahead of us." She said. Then grabbed both his hands and dragged him back to his room. Once in there she told him to were his uniform. She then left to her room to change.

Beastboy changed into his uniform then made his way to the common room. Once he opened the door he saw that the lights were off. Then they turn on and the all screamed...

...."SURPRISE!!!!!! "

"Wow. You guys did this all for me? Your all the best." He said genuinely.

"Happy birthday Beastboy." Robin congratulated.

"Happy day of births friend. I hope you like what we have done." She said giving him a hug.

"I do." He said hugging back.

"Let's dig in." Cyborg yell.

They all went to the cake and had a slice. They sat down and recalled all their funny memories. After having a good laugh, they went to opening presents.

The first present was from Starfire and she gave him a new videogame that just came out."Thanks Star. I will play with it and definitely beat Cy." "You are most welcome friend." She smiled.

The next present was from Cyborg. He gave him a new game controller that was light green and was wireless."This is so cool. Now we won't get confused on who's is who's." "No big deal buddie." Cyborg shrugged.
