"I can't Tyler...I can't go in there... just look at me..I'm disgusting. You said it yourself." Josh sighed standing outside the doors of a fancy restaurant Tyler was trying to coax him into.

"It's fine. I know the people here and you don't look gross...I'm just think the stuff you do is gross. Why not just get a job?" He complained as he grabbed Joshs hand and dragged him to the doors.

"That's personal... fine. I'll come in. But I don't understand why you wouldn't just invite another one of your friends. You pretty much told me off twice yesterday. Don't I gross you out?" Josh asked tilting his head questioningly.

Tyler glanced at him and sighed.  How could he tell someone with a pouty face like that that they were gross. He wanted to think he was gross. He had to. He'd be an idiot to show compassion to a prostitute.

"No..you aren't gross. Like I said..I don't like what you do. It's gross. But you're looking just fine." Tyler mumbled looking away to hide his stressed demeanor as he got them a table off to the back.

"I'm looking fine? Wow..you aren't a complete prude." Josh smiled and Tyler glared a bit as they headed to their table.

"Yeah yeah...whatever. Just shut up and sit down. "

Tyler and Josh got themselves situated before they ordered their meals. Josh kept fidgeting and sighing everytime he looked at his phone. He seemed to be stressed out. He was putting off customers to spend time with Tyler and he didn't even know why.

"So why did you want me here?" He asked as they ate.

"Just for company."

"You're paying me for my company..." he asked sounding dumbfounded.

Tyler nodded briskly and they continued to eat in silence for the next half hour. When they were done Tyler paid and Josh stood up. I was just nearing eight thirty.

"Want to come spend the night again?" Tyler asked making Josh freeze in confusion once again.

"I...I have some things to do I...why..why would you want me over again?"

"Why do you ask so many dumb questions. Just come or don't come. Doesn't make a difference to me. Here." Tyler pulled a few bills from his pocket and handed them to Josh before he started walking away.

Josh looked at the handful of money he now had and Tyler's back as he walked away. He didn't know what to do. What was this guy's deal?

"Hey wait up!" He yelled and ran to catch up.

Josh caught up and Tyler looked up from his phone to face him. Josh looked tired. And Tyler had a few guesses why. He was quite tired himself though.

"You look tired." He said bluntly.

"And you look like you were crying. I don't point it out though." Josh shot back.

It was more of a poke than a shot though. He was a lot less defensive than Tyler.  Tyler glared a bit but didn't get mad.

"Shut up..."

"Are you alright anyways? Hey tough guy. You don't have to be so stubborn. You can tell me." Josh prodded some more.

"I'm fanfuckingtastic. Don't I just appear to be a ray of sunshine? A bubbly ball of fucking happiness? My life is shit. Don't ask me again." Tyler snapped a bit.

Josh became quiet for a minute before smiling down to Tyler. He put a hand on his back and rubbed it softly. Tyler had this look of anger on his face mixed with relaxation.

"That's alright. Not everyone's life is always peachy tough guy." Josh said bluntly with a smile.

"Fuck off."

"Make me."

"I will." Tyler muttered shoving Josh into the wall as he walked.

Josh snickered as he bumped into the bricks. "That's all you got?"

And with that there was a hand print appearing slowly on Joshs cheek. It happened so fast. A fit of annoyance shot through him and Tyler just snapped briefly. Josh stood frozen for a minute and Tyler stopped in his tracks. He had a shot of regret go through him and he tried to think up a way to apologize. He just totally smacked a stranger over a meaningless little quarrel. He flinched slightly as Joshs hand rose up and he pulled back to throw a fist at him. Tyler cussed quietly and braced himself.

"Shit..."
