"Then what happened?" I asked. My body was leant against, my head resting beside his shoulder so I could look up and listen to the story.

As expected, the story continued. He told me all about their first date. He then told me about the first time they kissed and the time Emma confessed her love for him. Every so often Killian would check to make sure I wasn't getting bored, which I wasn't. It was exciting learning about how my parents fell in love.

"I hope there's someone out there who's good enough for you, Phoebe." Killian said, obviously thinking about the future and what it holds. "By my standards, there probably won't be."

"You're not going to be one of those annoying, overprotective, 'don't-hurt-my-daughter' dads, are you?" I asked.

"Of course I am." Killian answered.

"Oh, bloody hell." I said, imitating my father.

"Mind your language." He snapped. For a moment I thought he was being serious, but then I saw the smirk on his face. Killian clearly took great pleasure in pretending to be strict.

It was nice spending with just the two of us. I seemed to spend more time with Emma and Henry than I did Killian, which was understandable.

"I love you Phoebe." Killian smiled, snapping me out of my tired daydream. Since the beginning, I knew that he loved me as if he'd known me my entire life, but I don't recall us actually telling each other this before.

"I love you too, dad." I smiled back. The word 'dad' still felt strange as it rolled off my tongue. There was no denying we were related, as we both had the same blue eyes, the same dark hair, and the same jaw shape. Luckily for me, my jaw didn't a beard to match my father's.

Up until 5:30pm, we didn't get a lot done. I didn't mind, as I loved simply spending time with my family. Emma arrived home and made grilled cheese for everyone, then mid afternoon Emma, Killian, and I went shopping. Henry insisted that he had homework, but we all knew he was staying home to FaceTime Violet. We didn't shop for anything special, just a general food shop.

"Henry, are you coming or what?" I called up the stairs. It was now past 5pm, and Regina usually served her desert at half past. It had become a weekly ritual to coincidentally turn up at her house in time for Apple turnover.

"I'll just be a moment." He yelled back.

"I'm coming too." Emma added, emerging from the kitchen.

"Okay." I smiled, hoping the company of an adult meant a lift in the car.

My suspicions were right, and soon enough the yellow bug was slowing to a halt outside the Mills' residence. It was early October and the sun was setting earlier each day. It wasn't dark yet, but the sky was filled with bright shades of pink.

"What a surprise." Regina rolled her eyes as she opened the door. She had obviously caught on to our scheme. She didn't seem to mind at all, though. Henry was her son, after all, and in my mind, I classed her as my aunt.

"Hey Robin." I smiled, seeing her sat at the dinner table beside Zelena and Roland. She was smiling, and I was glad she'd made herself at home already. I was going to miss out midnight gossips and trips to the cookie tin, but I was happy for her. Plus, we'd probably end up having millions of sleepovers, anyway. Storybrooke was basically musical houses. I once managed to sleep at home, Regina and Zelena's, and Mary Margaret and David's all in the same weekend.

"So, I think it's time we bring up our vacation ideas." Regina smiled after putting her knife and fork together in the centre of her empty desert plate, knowing she would get a positive ride from us.

"Don't get too excited, because it's not final," Emma began, facing Henry, Robin, and me. "But I was thinking, maybe Disneyland?"

Being a foster kid, I had only ever dreamed of visiting Disneyland.

"I actually think you're on to something there, Emma." Regina nodded. If Regina thought something was a good idea, it probably was. "Especially as I'm technically a Disney character."

I laughed to myself, remembering that my family consisted of a bunch of Disney characters, mixed with a certain green witch from Oz.

"That would be so cool, mom. Do you really think we'd be able to go? Like, all of us?" Henry asked.

"Emma, Regina, Zelena, Henry, Roland, Robin, Phoebe, Mary Margaret, David, Killian, Neal..." Emma counted under her breath. "That's eleven of us, right?"

"Congratulations, Emma. You can count!" Zelena mocked. "But in all seriousness, that sounds like a brilliant idea"

"There's still time to think of other ideas, and we'll have to see if my parents are as enthusiastic as we are." Emma said, making sure we didn't get too excited over the theoretical trip.

"What about Killian?" Robin questioned.

"Oh, he'll literally go wherever I tell him to go. Find someone who's badly in love with you, and then you have them wrapped around your little finger." Emma adviced Robin and I, Henry scrunching his face up at Emma's words. "And Henry, you need to make sure you're always respectful of women."

"Are we really doing this now?" Henry complained.

"Don't talk to your mother like that!" Regina lectured Henry.

"Is this the part where I argue back and Emma butts in saying 'or your mother?'" Henry asked, ruining their little drama piece before they could play it out.

The seven of us talked for a while longer, including Roland, who gave us an exceptionally long list of his favourite Disney characters, which somehow crossed with his favourite animals, bringing us to a list of facts he had learnt about pandas last week. He was at the age where he denied it, but he was adorable.

"Hey, mom?" Henry asked while Regina and Emma washed and dried the dishes. They had a system where Emma would dry and put away a plate just in time for Regina to hand her another.

"Yeah." Emma answered, placing a plate onto the top of a stack.

"Could I go out with a few of my friends? It's only 6pm and we'll only be hanging around Granny's and the park, nothing bad." Henry asked.

Emma exchanged glances with Regina before answering. "I don't see why not."

"Okay, cool. Thanks." Henry then turned to face Robin and I, who were still sat at the table. "Are you two coming?"

Robin turned to face Zelena, who nodded before having to be asked.

"Sure." I answered for the both of us, getting up from the chair.

"Wait, Phoebe, take my jacket. I'll be in the car and I won't need it." Emma said, drunk her hands on the striped tea towel before handing my her red leather jacket.

"Are you sure?" I asked. She wore her jacket most days, and it felt weird wearing something that I considered a piece of Emma.

"Yeah, of course." Emma smiled, laughing lightly at my hesitation.

"Oh my god, Emma. She looks just like you." Zelena commented.

"It's so weird seeing that old jacket on anyone but you, but I have do agree with Zelena, Regina smiled, her hands still in the dishwater.

"I'm sending a picture to Killian, smile." Emma announced, barely giving me enough time to fix my resting scowl. "Look at you, you're my daughter."

"I'm aware of that." I nodded at the obvious statement Emma made.

"I know. Have a nice time, we love you." Emma said as the three of us made our way to the door. It was only 6pm, so the sun hadn't set yet. I pulled out my phone and took as many photos of the sunset as I could before Henry grabbed my arm and dragged me in the direction of Granny's Diner.
