It was no surprise that harry ended up in the emergency room three hours later.

He had gotten up to go to the bathroom and had began to feel dizzy, which he pushed off as getting up too fast. He leaned against the bathroom counter and took a deep breath, his eyes closed, his headache back again. This is when Sparrow barked at him, a quick sharp bark that harry knew to mean trouble, but he just pushed it off, holding one finger up to the dog, wait. Sparrow lid down on the floor, putting her head on her paws and whimpered.
This is when a wave of nausea sweeps over harry and he sways on his feet, struggling to stay conscious. Its soon apparent he is fighting a losing war as, moments later he collapses to the floor. Sparrow is ready for this though, she lunges forward and catches harry. she snakes under him and catches his head on her back, lowering him to the floor gently before running to kitchen to call 911, which she was trained to do. she goes to the phone and hits the emergency button, and it instantly connects her, then she presses the button next to it which is meant to play a recording.
"Help is needed at..." it rattles off harry's address as Sparrow runs back to the bathroom, where harry is still out on the floor. Sparrow sniffs him worriedly before settling on the floor in the doorway.
When the paramedics show up they are genuinely surprised to find a dog waiting for them in the doorway. she leads them inside and to the bathroom where harry is still unconscious. They immediately load him up and begin to leave but sparrow panics. She begins to bark and whine and run around. She circles their feet when they try to leave and blocks their way at the door. They finally understand when she pulls her harness off of the hook by the door.

"She's a service dog" One says to the other "Do we have to take her?"
"yeah, i think so, and i doubt she's going to let us leave with him if she gets left here" His partner responds and sighs.
"Come on girl" the first one says, calling her with them as they leave the house. They shut the door behind them and load harry into the ambulance, sparrow jumping in without an invitation. She settles next to harry's head watching both paramedics carefully, unsure about them but having been trained to trust people in uniforms such as paramedics, firefighter and police unless harry indicated to her not to, she lets them do what they need to.
