The Collision: Between Venus and Mars

  Planet Venus and Mars had existed for billion of years. Mars has always been known as the kingdom of fire and strength, while Venus was known as beauty and love. That was a long time before everything changed. Before both planets shared their characteristics. Both strength and mercy must be balance in one self's. Unfortunately, there was no mercy at all between the two kingdoms. Only I, the Venus Princess, still possessing the power of love inside of my heart. The Mars Prince too, was unlikely the same as the people from his kingdom.

  Venus gave up on being merciful since that very time when they lost many of their children and their love ones. They said, mercy is weak. Mercy only brings losses and failures. While Mars gains victory and revenge without any mercy at all. No love. No mercy. Only causing their enemies to suffer in pain. With no mercy at all. With that, Venus turned into a unmerciful kingdom. They refused to ever let sorrow or pain into their kingdom again. Not to their own people.

  Years passed by, Venus had became just as powerful as Mars. Their battles were endless. It was once in a blue moon to gain victory back home. Both were so powerful. So strong. There was never really a winner after Venus had became stronger. They fought fierce battles. Many lives had been taken away from both, but they were fast to create new lives.

Every life was brought by a blow of the wind from galaxy. Do you think that the galaxy doesn't have any wind? You're right. Absolutely right. It wasn't exactly the wind you could find within the atmosphere of the Earth today, but we called it as the wind. The wind was the imaginary path of each galaxy seedling's travel all the way to our planet. It drifted like it was blown by a gentle wind somewhere from the outer galaxy. Our way of reproduction was almost similar to Mars. A soon-to-be mother would make a wish at the Tree of Creation and the child would be delivered in a few months. The Tree of Creation was the place where the wind would deliver to in Venus.

You might most probably think that it's odd that only a woman herself could just wish at the Tree of Creation in Venus and get a child delivered after a few months. Yes, I know it is odd but this was how we had our nation without men. And Mars had their nation widely spread without the existence of women on their planet.

On Mars, a man could wish for a child by sacrificing a big loaf of bread into the Sea of Creation. Yes, bread existed before it did on Earth. In that time, both Venus and Mars were different. Very different indeed. It was before they collide, both could hold lives on them. At the Sea of Creation, after a year of wishing, a child would be delivered in a small basket, slowing drifting unto the shore. People believed that the child falls from the skies above unto the Sea of Creation. While as for the people in Venus, the child would be wrapped in what it seemed like a big flower, as it gently drifted to the Tree of Creation.

I was Princess Vivian of Venus, the daughter of the Venus Queen. Every day, I was forced to attend sword dancing. It was a tradition that every princess of Venus must master this skill. It was a skill of a graceful performance. It was also a skill of fighting in battles. While every prince on Mars owns their very own flaming horse.

The King and Queen has dislike one another for decades. The Queen knew that one day she'll be gone, so she had decided to have her very own child. Her very own daughter. She had never loved anyone more, except for herself. She only wanted me to avenge her. She had never considered about how I felt since I was young.

Hey, I know I talked a lot about how it was before Earth. It must be a little too complicated for you to take that all in. But, I will now tell you the real story of my life. Of the events occurred in Venus. Soon, it would be how I met the love of my life. The everlasting love of my existence.
