The Collision: Between Venus and Mars

"Isn't the Sunata Mountains the place where every princess takes her test at her age of seventeen?"

"It indeed is."

We opened the door to Alexis' house.
"My mother won't be back until tomorrow due to some events occurring at the Tree of Creation."

"What kind of events?"

"I don't know. That's all she told me before she left for work today."

"I see."

Alexis opened her closet and took out a bow. "We wouldn't want to go to that place without any weapons, would we?"

"Uh-uh." I shook my head. "I have my sword with me now."

"Good." Alexis packed some food supplies into two backpack and handed one to me. "You're gonna need it when we ever happen to split."

"Thanks."

  "I heard that we have to get past the forest first. And I got a feeling. It won't be a pleasant one." Alexis warned as we walked out of the city gate.

"Of course it wouldn't. If there would be any monsters to fight, I'm on!"

  Not long we finally arrived at the forest.
"It looks more like a jungle.." Alexis said.

"What's the difference anyways?"

"Uh.. I don't know actually. Let's keep going." Alexis grinned sheepishly.

As we walked deeper into the woods, our surroundings grew darker in sight. Alexis held her bow tightly. I took a glance at my sword I was holding. Just then, I realized that Alexis was gone. Alexis? Where are you?

I turned around to see if she's anywhere nearby, but she was nowhere to be found. Oh no. Alexis.. It was just two seconds I didn't notice you.

I started to feel afraid. Oh no, no, no. A princess like me can't be a coward. A well-trained warrior like me can't be afraid. Although I haven't really fought for real, but I've been trained since young. So there must be a way I could survive.

"Hey flower!"

"Ahh!"

"Hey. Calm down. I'm not gonna hurt you. I just want to ask, where are you going?"

"Well, uh, to the uh-"

"To the..?" the mysterious short hair person asked curiously as it raised its eyebrows.

"Eh.. To the- To the Sunata Mountains."

"Hmm.. But why?"

"Eh, you know? To fly a dragon or bird or whatsoever, and fly away."

"That's sounds nice. I want to go too! By the way, call me Mimi."

"Mimi?"

"Yep."

I stared at it with a funny look.
"Are you sure you are female?"

It looked at me with a shocked but annoyed face, "Do I not look like a female? Ouch! Ouch!
Ouch and ouch!" It looked at me with a slightly offended expression. "You're so mean. Goodbye now." It crossed its arms and turned to leave.
"Wait! Wait! Please, I'm sorry. I really am. Please don't leave me. I lost my friend and I was left alone. Now you're going, I'll be all alone again."
It turned around and thought for a moment. "Alright. The past is forgiven, I guess." it walked towards me again. "Did you just said that you lost a friend?"
I nodded.
"Come on, we're going to go find him!" it became enthusiastic and walked faster than me.
"Uh- It's HER. To be precise."
"Oh yeah, um, HER. Not HIM. Got it. Whoop! I mean I just forgot my grammar. Sorry."
I chuckled. "It's alright. Come on, let's go."
