If only...

"Where should i take you? Ahm your name? You haven't told me yet"

"I'm Lea. You can take me to the bar where they found me."

"Oh no! Not gonna happen. I can't let you go back in there. I'll send you home. Where do you live?" As he starts the engine.

"That's where i live"

"It can't be. Do you have relatives or friends who live nearby?"

"I can't just leave. I owe them a big amount of money. They'll be looking after me"

He tapped my hands on my lap kinda telling me everything will be fine.

"Do you trust me?"

I just met him but instinct tells me i can trust him. so i nod in reply. I was shock when he hold my hand and interlace his fingers to mine. His eyes were fix on the road while i feel so secured having him around.

We went inside this expensive looking condominium. He opened the door and step back. "Ladies first"

"After you. It's your house after all"

"It's yours too.. It's ours"

Did i hear it right? It's yours too?? "What?" I can't find the right words to say

"I said it's yours too. I mean you can stay here as long as you want. Feel at home"

"Thank you. I promise i'll be gone in the morning"

He holds my hand "nope. You're not going to work there anymore. This place is free for you."

"I owe them a big money. They'll search for me if don't come back"

"Leave it up to me. I'll take care of everything. Just trust me pls." he squeezed my hand and al i could do is smile.

"Ate Ingrid??" We both looked at the girl behind me.

I am puzzled cos she called me a different name.

"Oh i'm sorry miss. I just thought you were someone i know" she smiled and diverted her attention to Rob and kissed his cheek. "Hi kuya!"

"What brought you here? Spill it! What do you need?"

She pinched rob's cheek "you are so cute kuya. Can't i miss you. I don't need anything. Just drop by to check on you. Visited a friend near your place so why not visit you right? Anyway kuya who is she?"

They're both looking at me as i covered my body cos it's see through.

"Ah Lea, this is my sister Laureen (Laureen Uy)... And sissy this is Lea"

I extended my hand for her to shake but she instantly hug me.

"Hi ate Lea! I know exactly why kuya like you!" She look at his kuya and raised her brows up and down.. Seems like they know something that i don't know.

"Kuya how un gentleman you are. Aren't you going to invite her in or us?"

"You witty lady. We were about to go in when you interrupted us."

She's grinning like a kid "let's go ate" she encircled her arm to my arm and we went in. The place is so clean. Parang babae sa linis ang nakatira. Napaka organize pero manly ang interior. White wall, silver and black ang theme and leather chair.

"Have a sit ladies. Lea, you like pizza?"

"I'm okay with anything." Tipid kong sagot.

"Ate, request anything you want. He's a spoiler. Especially if she likes a girl"

"Lea, just don't mind her. And you young lady stop embarrassing me"

"I am not kuya. In fact i'm helping you win her heart, if you two aren't together yet" she looks at me and Rob, waiting for our reaction"

"Not yet. I mean she's a friend"

"Yihee not yet.. Hope it's soon. I like her kuya. "

He went near me and whispered to my ear " i am so sorry Lea. She's very sassy and i can see that she really likes you." I can only smile."

Rob went out of the room holding a pair of shirt and short and told me to weae this so i can move freely and so i did and when i finished, i saw them laughing their hearts out while Laureen has pizza in her mouth. I stared at them happily.

"Ate! Come over. Let's eat"

I joined them and Laureen keeps on embarrassing Rob by telling stories about him. I find them so cute and there's too much love from each other.

"Laureen are you going to sleep over? Or i'll send you home?"

"Kuya i can manage. I'll just ride a cab"

"No no and no... It's late. There's a lot of assholes out there. I'll drive you home."

He look at me after talking to his sister.

"Lea, i'll be away for a few minutes. I'll give you my number, call me if you need anything" write the number in a pad then hand it to me.

"Bye ate!.. Kuya introduce her already to mom and dad"

"Hey you. Don't pressure her. In time.."

She wink at me and off they go.

Inside Rob's car.

"Kuya, can i ask you something?"

"I know what's going through your mind. Yes, she looks like your ate Ingrid but she's different. Lea is so simple and...."

"And you like her right?"

"Too early to say.. I just met her."

"Where kuya?"

"In a party"

"Oh so that's the reason why she's wearing a see through and bikini. How's the pool party kuya? She's beautiful like ate Ingrid"

"Let's not talk about Ingrid okay? Lea is a different person"

Rob kept silent the whole time thinking how strong her resemblance to Ingrid. Are they related? It can't be. Ingrid comes from a rich family and with no Filipino blood at all. Why do i need to meet someone who looks just like her.

I dropped my litrle sister to our house but didn't go down already cos i don't want Lea to wait for me. Traffic sucks, it took me so long to go home. I silently open the door and tip toed seeing her sleeping on the couch. She looks like an angel. I tuck in the hair that's covering her beautiful face. I saw her forehead wrinkled probably dreaming of something. I get a blanket to cover her body and kissed her forehead. I was about to to go to my room when i heard her talk "babes"... There's something about her term of endearment or the way she say it that it felt like she's directly saying it to me. I walk back to my room with the smile on my face and can't wait for tomorrow where i can see her expressive eyes and hear her beautiful voice.
